Islands Café

Came here twice in one weekend. Very cute ambiance with plenty of space to sit. Hawaiian island theme is very refreshing. Menu is very elaborate and has a wonderful twist to it. Wait time is moderate. Drinks and food are well priced because they are quality. Unfortunately the 4star is because of the service. Everyone working there seemed very uninterested Beach Bum Latte-light iced coffee. Banana syrup was a must try but an acquired taste. Lanai smoothie- refreshing and mango based Big island smoothie- great blend of peanut butter and fruit smoothie Açaí bowl - good portion of toppings and smoothie. Not too sweet. Toasted sesame bagel - nice and fluffy

Good coffee. Fun Hawaiian ambiance. Big, bright space with comfortable seating. The cashier was friendly and helpful. The menu offered a large variety of choices. Always nice to see when it’s not just out-of-the-box baked goods. I will say that the washrooms weren’t the very well-kept and the paper towel dispenser didn’t work. I was also sad to see that there’s 2 washrooms, but only one was for patrons. The other was for “staff only.” Kinda implies that customer service isn’t quite top of mind. Other than that, a decent spot for good coffee and a snack.

I really enjoy this café and the atmosphere. Such kind staff. Only downfall is the wait times. I went twice and both times my bagel took 20+ minutes to make while my drink took no time! So not a spot to go during your 30 minute break. Overall a good experience though!

Unfortunately this cafe practices environmentally irresponsible practices, including discontinuing cermatic mugs for coffee they still have them on display and plastic cups rather than glass at the water station. Additionally, their prices are steep a drip coffee is near $4 and their revamped points program requires an exorbitant amount of points to get a free coffee. A poke bowl with bare minimum toppings avocado and lime approaches $20! The high prices don't reflect themselves in the decor. Their leather seats are torn and they have a coffee cup oddly melded to a table leg. Finally, their pastry case displays rotten goods which the staff never clean out or replace. Why not clean and put some fresh pastries in the case? This cafe earns it's one star for friendly staff and location. Otherwise, I hope they can improve upon the above.

I love the Hawaiian vibe, the decor and the menu. The food is made fresh to order. I love their bagel breakfast sandwich and the flatbreads. Pasties yes are good too. One star off for overly sweet drinks. Even when ordering half sweet, it’s still very sweet. Gave up on trying and only getting black coffee or tea.

Been coming here for at least 2 years at least 3 times a week and used to be very good. Muffins used to be a good size now much smaller. Also have had several occasions lately where my latte is only about 70% full. Unacceptable when a latte is around $5.00. Considering other options now

Excellent plus they have a delicious poke bowl and acai bowls. Muffins, sausage rolls, lots of herbal teas and coffees. Outdoor seating available.

Delicious acai bowls to take with you and chill at the park nearby. Very fresh and flavourful, I absolutely love it. The staff is great and very friendly and the whole experience was wonderful.Food: 5/5

Great food here, tried the poke and a breakfast sandwich. Was fresh and made on the spot. Didn't come out of a bag like Starbucks. Coffee's were amazing. Nice atmosphere and comfortable seating. Poke was probably the best I've had outside of Hawaii.
