This restaurant is usually where I order. But this is my first time trying the “oxtail” and its not actually oxtail meat, I can tell from the shape of the bones. Also a little tough. I feel quite deceived. There’s no difference in the taste of the stew chicken which is nice and “oxtail”.
I had stew chicken with rice & peas + salad. Unfortunately, the food wasn't up to par as the chicken was way too sweet, rice was too hard. It seems like this place uses the same sauce on the jerk chicken which sadly ruins the flavour. Can't say I'd have the food again.Food: 1/5
The jerk chicken was dry it had no juice/sauce, the peas were hard I ordered 5 large containers of jerk chicken rice & peas the portion size was not worth £9 looked like it was a small portion, I will definitely not be ordering from here again.
One spends time and money to arrive to this so called shop where it is more important to have loud music than to hear the customer or the customer hear you. I am tired of waiting 10mins + to be served. One customer before myself ordering sets of food like nobody else wants to eat, the staff walking up and down like nobody cares if a long cue develops, I came all the way from Ilford to get 2 soups for work. Food is good. I will never try to give these people my money again its not the first time. 12 times already. Somebody else wants my money .
On Friday the 17th I decided I wanted to eat some ackee and salt fish, when I arrive at the shop there was no ackee and salt fish, I decided to order jerk chicken and rice and peas, my daughter wanted curry chicken, they had no curry chicken so ordered stew chicken and rice and peas, the jerk chicken was not nice, jerk chicken should have a kick with pepper it was more on the sweet side, moist though, my daughter did not enjoy her stew chicken also sweet, to be honest we did not finish the food did not worth the money. I can do a better job, also if you are serving food wear gloves especially if you have nails part of food hygiene
Food taste nice, i liked it, but rude stuff... And when you order it from deliveroo/ubereats they Always cancel the order afther 30 mins/1 hrs of accepting It, out of stock items Always, menu its a mess...
Limited to no vegetarian/vegan options. Customer service has improved but has not always been the best. Good if you're a meat/fish eater but not for me. Saying this they've been in the community for years and are always busy so I'd say try it if you haven'tFood: 2/5
Food looks good right? I knew something was wrong but the rice was old and chicken was like it was left out overnight. I never had such bad food poisoning in my life. I had severe diarrhea and vomiting all night. The were in such a rush, they didn't even heat it properly. This is my last time ever going to anywhere like this, if the hygiene is not 100% and food piping hot don't eat it!!!
Love the food... very tasty and very good portion size.... Parking: Permits between mon - sat until 2030pm
