Very Convenient place to offer Namaz especially if you have visited Canada’s wonderland or nearby area in Vaughan. Enormous space for both Men and women and also they have islamic Madrasa. Pleasant and calm atmosphere and offers a huge parking space. As this Musallah is in a plaza so it wouldn’t considered as a Masjid hence ruling would be applied as per Musallah. Not a Sunni Barelvi Mosque though! The quotes represented outside are really deep and worthwhile to imply on a real life and practice the Islamic way of life.
MashaAllah very sumptuous and wholesome Iftar dinner by Zahid bhai and Hina Zahid on 7 April 2023. Well arranged and well served. May Allah SWT reward the family with His blessings. Kids were very happy with their gifts
Yesterday i.e. on 2nd of April 2023, we broke the fast in this Islamic Society of Vaughan mosque, it is with great regret and shame that I have to write this that there was a very poor arrangement of food, there was no system of any kind, there were very rude people who were giving the plate. They were thinking that those who are about to break the fast are poor, when they forgot that those who were there were better than them in every respect. Those organizing the fast looked like the place where people are craving for bread, blood is being shed for flour, these are the people who will not be healed even after going to heaven. Some were being fed so much and some were being given very little food. It was a sign of women's bad manners that they should not share the Iftar with anyone, which they had brought, and a new Muslim girl was sitting there, no one was sharing her food. Just talking, making noise, bringing children who were not even from China, and there was crying in the whole mosque because of the children. There was a crowd of ignorant people.
It seems as though my review from December 16th, 2022 was removed so Insha’Allah I will re-write it again. If you are a sister looking to pray Jummuah at this masjid do not bother going to first prayers, as women are not permitted to pray until the second Jummuah prayer. Even though this isn't stated anywhere on their website. As Muslims we really need to start doing better, stop turning women away from Masjids. Make accommodations for the women in your community, and create a welcoming environment for your sisters in Islam. It is such a disappointment when our male leaders behave this way towards Muslim sisters. Discriminatory behaviour towards sisters has to stop. We were there for Lailat al-Miraj/Miraç Kandili. It was a pleasure to meet with my sisters and brothers at Islamic Society of Vaughan..
Good place to connect with god Allah.
The mosque is located at the North-East Corner of the Mall. Entrance through the parking lot. 1st Friday Khutba starts 12:30 pm and the second about 30 minutes afterwards.
Beautiful Masjid Masha'Allah, very clean and in the middle of the GTA area in Vaughan..... All the Brothers in the community are amazing and the imam's recitation and knowledge is phenomenal,... May Allah protect all of you
Masha’allah ,a very clean and welcoming masjid.5 daily prayers and jumaa prayers are offered there.They have islamic classes forkids/youth/adults men and women.
Very beautiful and clean masjid. Close to Hwy 400 for easy access.
