It’s not easy getting Korean Chinese food right, but I was really pleasantly surprised. This place was really good! I would definitely come back and also have been recommending this location to friends! Service was good as well
Have you been watching kshows and been craving jajangmyun and tangsuyuk? This place will fulfill your k-drama food fantasies! It is difficult to find a Korean Chinese restaurant and this place is a gem. The portions are humongous. We ordered Course A which includes Tangsuyuk, Spicy Fried Chicken and Family Ja Jang. It costs $59.99 pre-tax. Also if you pay cash they give you 5% off. On the menu the dishes were described as small size but the portions were giant. The fried dishes were piping hot! You can tell that they were made fresh. I loved the sweet and tangy chicken dish especially with the touches of water chestnut. The tangsuyuk was honestly a bit on the tough side. What I did really appreciate is that the poured only on one side so you have the option to dip as well for those that prefer to eat it that way. The Ja Jang was a giant portion mixed with shrimp, diced meat, squid and a ton of onions. Very delicious but super heavy. Definately a large portion to share among 4 people. I would recommend this spot even though the prices have increased a lot in the past 3 years since they opened. FYI when we went their card machine was not working so they only took cash or e-transfers at the time.
I was recommended by my relative to try this place. We love jjajangmyun so we ordered Samseon jjajangmyun I heard jjambbong is really good too. They are both good and we ordered my favorite dish called Tang soo yook, deep fried pork with sweet and sour sauce but this was average compare to the other dishes. But the pork was really thick not like other restaurants, those have more batter than meat.
Came here on a Sunday for lunch and got the daily special which was the small tangsuyuk to share. It was yummy but small. The jajang sauce was not very strong and the jajangbap surprisingly included plain rice as opposed to fried rice which is the standard. The samsun champong was surprisingly big with lots of veges and seafood. Good meal overall but not the best Korean Chinese place the GTA has to offer.
I think this restaurant serves the best Jjamppong in Toronto so far.. The flavour of the broth itself differs from the other ones I’ve had, spicy at first but then the joy of the deep seafood aroma makes for a pleasant experience. The seafood itself is cooked to perfection too! You’ll usually find the squid to be too chewy because they’ve been over cooked but not here. It was so soft and delicate I was very impressed to say the least. Their Kam pung shrimp and Seafood fried rice was also delicious. The fried rice comes with a side of jjajang sauce and jjamppong soup! Can’t wait to return to try their other menu items
Came to this place on a early Sunday afternoon and it was quite busy. We got some black bean noodles and an entrée, and the food quality was excellent. The servers there were topping our side dishes before we even asked for it multiple times. It has 14 tables so it’s not that big of a place. I would call ahead if youre going on a weekend. All in all, would go again for some noodles.
We came here because we were craving jajjangmyeon and they didn’t disappoint. Great service, place is clean, good portion, and value for the price. We ordered family jajjangmyeon for two, Yu Rin Ki, and Gyoza.
I ordered a chicken Katsu. The taste is okay, but the fried chicken was fried too long and it’s pretty hard to chew. About the side dish.... I am not sure if I am eating dressing with salad OR salad with dressing
Holy smokes amazing food. We came here for Pho and discovered it shut down and a Korean restaurant opened in its place. I was blown away by the food and service. Jajangmyun was sooooo good and cheap! Jam poong, WOOOOOW! I’ve never seen a bowl with so much seafood in it. And the broth was amazing! I drank the entire bowl, I’ve never don’t that in my life before. I highly recommend this place! So much better than Sunny Dragon by price, flavour, and service. You need to eat here!
This place has been recommended by several Facebook people who explore Chinese fusion food from Korea. I had my own doubts when I took my friends here because of my experience with many other Chinese-Korean fusion food. I simply did not want to disappoint them, and myself. But when I tried the spicy seafood noodle, jjamppong, I was totally blown away! It was a top quality dish with fresh, never frozen seafood, fresh veges, and incredible savory soup. Just a thought of it made my mouth watery! Well, if the quality of food is what I will get every time I come here, this is the best, bar none, Chinese -Korean fusion restaurant I have ever experienced in nation-wide. My friend also tried jjajang noodle black bean sauce noodle, and my mouth is now watery again. Incredible experience and despite of a long drive, this place address is being added to my favourite place on my Google Map.
