I am not giving any sort of stars to the services given by this clinic. Ever since my family doctor move to this clinic, everything slows down in communication. They need to add more people at the reception to assist phone call. I was on hold multiple times and still no apologies for putting you on hold longer than usual. Time to go somewhere else. Definitely pure dissapointment. Train your receptionist to be a people person. !
I'm a patient of Dr. Barcan's whom I adore, it is a shame she left her previous clinic as it was much better run. I have been calling since 9am since the phone lines have been open and cannot talk to anyone to change my in-clinic appointment to a telehealth appointment. Now I will more than likely be charge for a no show because I have covid so in-clinic is not possible and they will not answer the phone. I was also to receive a referral form but have not received them and it's been a WEEK. Update: I cannot believe I had to call the PHARMACY to get a message to the clinic that is absolutely atrocious!!
Integrated Wellness Medical Clinic is the best Clinic in the lower mainland in my opinion. Dr. Garg is a fabulous doctor and I am so happy she allowed me to become one of her patient's. This clinic is prompt, caring and honest with all their patients. I would recommend her to all my friends, neighbors and family.
***Please avoid Dr. Garg at all cost *** She is extremely rude and doesn't listen. Every time I visited she made me feel like she was being put out by having to address my concerns. As my family doctor she never picked up the phone call and I would rather choose a walk-in clinic.
Dr. Rasool is absolutely amazing, he is the best family physician that I could hope for, but making an appointment through front desk can be very difficult and time consuming. Edited: please tell me, how come the answering machine says that the office is now closed for lunch from 1-2, when I’m calling at 12:30???? I had an urgent questing for my doctor but we will now have to go to the hospital instead
I’ve been a patient with Dr.Garg for over a year now. I can confidently say I have found probably one of the worst doctors in British Columbia. I only reach out to “Dr. Garg” using doctor very loosely for lap requisitions for blood work. Usually to check my Iron, thyroid levels, or sti test. Every single time I’ve told her my request and concerns, she immediately follows it up with a sigh. Her immediate response is to invalidate me. She jumps straight into “you don’t need this” without asking me why I’ve requested this in the first place. Every phone call is a battle to validate my reasonings and feelings. I’ve told her she makes me feel crazy for wanting to check in on my health and her response was “I don’t make you feel crazy” ???? If you’re looking for a doctor to gaslight you, show no empathy or concern towards you, she is the perfect fit. I even went to her specifically because I thought having a woman of colour as a doctor would protect me a bit from the already terrible medical system. But nope!! I believe she’s burnt out, I’m it for the money and could careless about her patients. She’s more concerned about how quickly she can hung up the phone. Which she just did ahah she literally hung up on me. While I was very nicely explaining Id still like to check my iron even if it’s isn’t recommended. I’m in complete disbelief in her unprofessionalism, disrespect and ego. I hope she reads this so she really considers retiring. Dr. Garg, if you’re reading this you’re causing so much harm. You are burnt out and it’s time to stop providing terrible medical service to your patients.
The staff at the clinic were friendly and courteous. Fiona at the front desk was very kind and helpful and so was Luisa. Dr. Rasool listened and attended to my care professionally. Thank you, Fiona, Luisa, Dr. Rasool and staff.
This clinic has been very frustrating to deal with. I was a patient of Dr Barcan at her last location and I truly miss those MOA’s. I had an appointment with Dr. Barcan and was supposed to receive my referral afterwards. I did not so I called at 1130am to let them know I needed it ASAP and to email it over. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited until close today and still received nothing. This is time sensitive. If I have an appointment over the phone then I should be receiving my referral requisition immediately after the appointment. Do not recommend.
My family doctor works in this clinic. He's a good doctor. But the staff is terrible . The front desk ladies are so unprofessional, lazy , lazy , lazy , did I mention lazy ? Grouchy , stupid, disrespectful, and careless. They never have appointments because they leave early but they'd tell you they are busy.
I'm writing this review because I called and was put on hold for 18 minutes. When the administration rep finally picked up she was snappy and said she was on the other line with a patient and when I told her I felt forgotten because I waited 18 minutes she didn't even apologize. Their phone staff is rude beyond belief. Dr. Peedikayal is so thoughtful and caring but they're administration actually outs my review into the negative stars. Dr.peedikayal saves the day on this review. Avoid this clinic, seriously. It's not worth the stress. Until they're given client service Training, I'd recommend finding other care.
