Inn at the Finger Lakes

The staff at the Inn at the Finger Lakes have always been very accommodating to me and my family. The Manager Michael, has been at this property for several years now, he has always been very helpful to my wife and I, and gone above and beyond. After reading some of these reviews, maybe the people who have had problems, were not following the hotel policies. But we have always enjoyed our stays, and the hotel. Everything down to breakfast and evening reception are great.

This place is a total rip off. After we left decided to add to our credit card $150.00 for smoking in room! What a joke. My wife is highly allergic to smoke and you cannot smoke even in the same house with her. If she sensed any part of smoke she would be demanding a new room immediately. WE live in AZ so I guess they figured we were far enough away to dispute it. We were on a 25 day road trip which covered 8431 miles. Stayed in 24 Hotel rooms on this trip. Not one claimed any smoking except this one! Imagine that! Parking was bad, room tight an not easy to move around in . I called this place 5 days in a row and never received a return phone call about this. If you like your money and do not want to be taken advantage of, DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

I have and am truly enjoying my stay at the Inn at the Finger Lakes. Michael, the manager, worked with me with my limited expenses from my employer. That relieved much stress. Thanks Michael. As for the staff, they are awesome and very attentive to their clientele. Miss Emily is a sweetheart. She puts up with my dry humour and antics. She is patient with her not so friendly clients. She is a gift to any employer. The housekeepers are fantasic. The room is always in tip top shape when I arrive from a long day at the office.

Busy traffic area, hard to get into parking lot. Poor placement of entrance. Arrived early and they were made aware online of the time and no accommodation was made for it. Shower was good. Bed was comfortable. Average buffet breakfast with small eating area. Had WiFi with easy access.

The room was quite spacious and well appointed. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was substantial. The hurdle is the entry into the property and a convoluted parking lot. The address is Seminary Ave. but you cannot come onto the property from that road as it's a one-way exit so you have to circle around on one way streets to get to John St. to find the entrance. If this abnormality is noted on the website it's quite hidden. Now that we know how to get in, it's been a pleasant stay.
