The Ingalls Homestead is just that, the land Charles Ingalls homesteaded through the Homestead Act in 1880 with his family. Laura Ingalls Wilder lived on this land from age 13-18. You can experience pioneering history through covered wagon rides, a one-room school session, hands-on activities and camping on-site.
