The owner served us today and delivered the same great service we’ve received in the past. Worth giving a 5 star review IMHO. That was a nice patio service experience. We’ll come back!

Food is really good with nice flavours. The decor makes the restaurant feel upscale even though the menu for me is comfort food. Hopefully next time they will have the Thai Iced Tea available. Sorry, we dug into the wings before I remembered taking a photo. Thai Chicken Salad Beef Luc Lac w/ tomato fried rice. Add the egg! Butter Garlic Wings

Beautiful places all around. Great place to hang out or watch a game. The staff are extremely wonderful, they're very attentive and talks to you at eye level. The perfection of every dish is worth trying. My goto dish would be the beef carpaccio. They do it better than others and the size will leave your tummy happy. Definitely recommend this place.

Came on soft opening day. Service was great - our server checked on our table several times. Loved the modern decor which is a refreshing change from many of the mom and pop restaurants in South Hill. The slight down side is that the price is higher than at those other restaurants. Dishes were all well presented. The Thai chicken salad had a light and refreshing vinaigrette. The photo broth was flavorful without being too greasy. My favorite dish was the beef luc lac which had just the right hint of sweetness and had nice chunks of steak.

Indochine on Fraser is a fun place to gather friends for drinks and good food. There's also karaoke which is a great option for when you don't want to travel to downtown for entertainment.

I made a reservation over a month prior for a large dinner party on a Sunday evening. When our group arrived, it was very busy and chaotic in the restaurant. Our table was not yet ready and the server was trying to give us two separate booths for our group. We requested a table at the side that looked like it would better accommodate our group so we could sit together. The server then told me that it was reserved for another group. I mentioned that I made the reso over a month ago and she replied with ‘oh, they made theirs two months ago.’ That reply was a bit questionable. Into our dinner, my friend turned around to ask the group at that table when they reserved and they said ‘last week and we were called and asked to come earlier.’ That was a bit upsetting as the server lied to me and also even made their table smaller because they were a smaller group. They could have fit at one of our tables. Secondly, they were very very short staffed. There was one cook that we could see in the kitchen working tirelessly for the entire restaurant. In combination with the possibility of our orders not being properly processed and the one cook, we did not receive any food for at least 90 minutes. One of our girls did not receive her drink until 1.45hr into our seating. Overall service was slow and we could see other tables growing tired of waiting. We tried to be patient and understanding of the one cook who still ended up pounding out delicious food. Due to our food coming super late, this delayed our time going into the karaoke rooms. Two of my friends went to voice their concerns regarding our reso, how the server lied to us, and waiting time for food. We requested some type of compensation for this. In return we got to do karaoke for free. We understand that times are tough and staffing is an issue for a lot of establishments. However, knowing that there was a reservation made for a large group and the restaurant is regularly busy, they could have been better prepared. I was more upset over our group not being able to sit together and fully enjoy our experience especially after taking the time to plan and reserve with ample ample time. We can greatly appreciate the one lone overworked chef and I can only speak for myself when I say that the other servers who were working did try their best. But when you have a large group of hangry ladies who just want to eat and then sing, you’re looking at a bunch of unhappy people. Luckily we still enjoyed each other’s company and made light of the situation in having shared one small package of sesame snaps and mentos to kill our hunger. I had a phenomenal experience! Top notch food, amazing atmosphere/vibe, and lovely staff attentive, friendly and personable. I can tell this place was run by outstanding management! Every dish we ordered was tasty especially the butter beef Definitely cannot wait to come back!

An amazing spot for a chill yet fun night with friends! The food was delicious - Shaking beef, Hainan chicken, and butter beef were the stars of the night!! Such great customer service from our server, Felicia. She went above and beyond for us and was super personable so it made the experience at Indochine even better! Highly recommend checking out this spot for a night of great food and fun!
