Indigo - Laval

Indigo has a large selection of books in both languages. Very wide variety of subjects for all genres. Very clean and organized and staff very friendly and helpful.

They have a very good variety of books in French and English. Friendly staff, always smiling, and very helpful. Starbucks right next door, connected to Indigo. Contributes to the “cozy bookstore feel” when you can browse books with your hot coffee/tea!nLove the long table where you can sit and read. My son loves to buy a book and retreat to that table.nThere is a discount book section, so there are books in all price ranges at Indigo.nI also love that there is a big kids section. I have many fond memories of going to Indigo Laval on Saturday mornings with my family and always leaving with fun new books and toys!

Indigo is by far my favorite bookstore in Montreal, and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves reading. Chapters is one of my favorite places. But Laval is letting everyone down. Their website is currently having inventory issues. So I tried calling, over 10times in 2hrs, to check the stock of a particular item it said was available. No one ever answered the phone. They were the only store in the Montreal and surrounding area that said it had stock. So I got in my car in the freezing rain to drive 40km to the store. They had no stock, it was unavailable. Thanks alot, I get that you are busy. But please answer your damn phones. Especially if you know your website is having inventory issues.
