False advertising. They have big signs with sales and then tell you, “it doesn’t apply to new products, oh it doesn’t apply to hats”. I’m sure it “large sales” wouldn’t apply to anything in the store except for the dish rags in the back. None of this is on the sign, of course. Not in the fine print, not anywhere, only verbally after you bring the stuff to the till. None of this is discussed until you go to pay. And only mentioned it as you check to see why you didn’t get a discount as promised. Definitely nice stuff as it’s brand name but I wouldn’t buy anything from these guys in the future. 7 day returns for store credit but not refunds. Remove the tag and it’s no returns and no refunds. Awesome, not going to visit here. Not sure if there’s such a law here, but in other places in Canada, you would get fined big time for such false advertisement.

I consider myself a frequent customer here. First of all, I freaking love snowboarding, hiking, running and cycling. And Impulse Sports has The North Face and Arc'teryx products. That is like a prefect tinder match for me. I have purchased so many outdoor gears from this store over the last three years because it's close to my home. Recently, I've noticed that this store has a new manager and some new staffs. Trust me, they are way way way better than the previous staffs. I bought a hyper layer FD hoody and an Atom LT hoody this time. Shout-out to the new manager, Stephanie, I love her! she is so friendly and knowledgeable.

I had a wonderful experience at the shop today. The store looks very clean and welcoming, and the merchandising are on point and attractive Speaking from the perspective of a seasoned store manager! I was delighted to find something that was quite unique, and got help and ideas with the try on. I ended up purchasing a rare to find Adidas Original zip sweatshirt at 40% off! I’ve been coming to Aberdeen forever and I’ve never shopped here. Ever. I come to Aberdeen to eat. Well, I decided just to pop in since I’ve been looking for a new jacket and was amazed at the awesome service. Looks like recent reviews are all legit. They pretty much only carry Arteryx and North Face though. If that’s your jam then it’s definitely worth dropping by. Then go grab some grub!

I haven’t been in this store for quite some time now and decided to give it another try. Previously it was “meh” at best but I had a bit of time to kill that afternoon. Was I ever glad that I checked this store out! It seems as though the store is under new management as I noticed a substantial improvement in the quality of service and selection of clothing. I was so happy to find some cute Nike and Adidas pieces at such an affordable price looking forward to shopping there with my friends in the near future!

The store offers hand sanitizer and requires customers to wear masks upon entering which is really good and safe during this pandemic. They have a wide selection of outdoor gears from Arc’teryx and North face, as well as sportswear from Nike and Adidas. Really good deals too. The staffs recommended gears that suited my needs and were really helpful.

Wow. I haven't been to this store in ages. But must be under new management because store is so much more shopper friendly and the staff are so helpful. They had a good selection of items, and good prices. The staff were so good with helping me with sizes and were very nice.

Contrary to all the poor reviews here, I was approached by friendly staff who offered their help and gave me recommendations for Arc'teryx shells and insulated jackets for hiking. They also made sure everyone in the store was wearing a mask and had sanitized their hands before touching anything.

Felt EXTREMELY unwelcome there. No employees asked if I needed any help, and they were watching me like a hawk to make sure I was not stealing anything. Either that, or they could be selling some shady stuff, and are scared of their items being deeply inspected by anyone with a trained eye. Seemed like they were selling legitimate items, but I would still rather spend my money elsewhere. They need nicer employees that would be happier to help their customers.

Like all other reviews, you're watched like you're going to steal something. No customer service as staff do not know the details of the products that are stocked! Sizes aren't always available, BUT, the variety and selection is available to try out! For all the negative reviews posted, the upside is as follows: if you know what you want and have done your research on Arcteryx and North Face products, THEN WAIT for SALES! You can get some really good deals! If you see your size and its on sale, don't hesitate and just get it! As stock does not last long!
