They are close during the whole winter break. Their open hours are always different to the google info. Their office hour is super short and many closed days. They only put a paper notice at the glass door. No update on google. No update on their website. Why all dance school in Richmond suggest this shop? Their clothes are pricy.

The staff person we talked to was really kind and helpful, she helped me find the right sizes for me and gave me honest opinions about how they looked on me. I do wish they had more things for my size, because I felt really embarrassed when a lot of the stuff I wanted was not available in a large.

We have bought a pair of soft pointe shoes and a pair of split sole canvas ballet shoes today. A very busy shop but we have still received professional help in our fitting from the owner of the shop and have been recommended with a very comfy ballet shoes. Price is reasonable. For sure it deserves our recommendations.

If you need ballet shoes at a great price and aren't terribly picky about how they look or fit hey, they're not bad!, this is your store. They import Asian-style ballet shoes for adults in various colours and sizes. Their service was sweet and helpful. They dug really deep to find my perfect size. They and the customers were all very warm and accepting even though I stuck out like a sore thumb in this Chinese mall I'm white. Haha! The shoes are holding up well.

Overall great experience. I've visited a few dance shops looking for leotards for adults and they have a very good selection. I was confused at first about how their system works. They have one of everything out on the racks, with a chart attached showing what sizes and how many of each they have left in the back. That way, once you decide on a style, they can grab the correct size for you and it's sealed in a package - so it'll never have been warn, which is great. They also do a lot of sewing there so possibly a good place to get alterations, but don't quote me on that.

I had a great experience at this store . So helpful .I read the comments about non Asians and all I can say is that this was the opposite of our experience. The owner of the store I'm guessing was super knowledgable and passionate about dance. Took so much time with my child picking just the right size of shoes .

I bought a pair of exercise dancing shoes there for 20% off promotion now 20% - 50% discount after their friendly, patient service, explaining all the fitting details. Will definitely go back if ever needed!

I went to the store to try on tap shoes that I was looking for. I asked for size 7.5 or 8 in a specific style and the woman there was very rude and said no. She asked what my budget was when I asked for help and I said "$60" because I know that there are some shoes under that price range. She looks at me in a judge mental way and starts looking for shoes in my size. Keep in mind that I'm not Chinese/Asian so she doesn't want to be there helping me. Then I ask if I can order anything online then again she rudely replies with "no". I decided to not waste my time with her. If you aren't willing to spend too much and aren't Chinese DONT go there.

I will not shop at this store again. A young woman was helping my 11 year old daughter with jazz shoes when abruptly, an older woman who I assume was one of the owners barged in between us and loudly stated that "my daughter's feet were way too big for the shoes she was trying on and to stop before she stretched them"! She then proceeded to try to upsell us to a shoe that was $25 more and very loudly noted that she "usually didn't care such big sizes". Note: my daughter is not Chinese/Asian unlike most of the customers. Then she ordered my daughter to put on nylon socks which the younger woman did not ask her to do because her feet were "too sweaty"! So embarrassing for both of us! My daughter left feeling really bad...not exactly a way to promote a positive body image.

Staff was friendly but the person helping me really didn't know anything about dance shoes. Be very careful with what you get because some brands or styles are poorly made. Be sure with what you need to get before coming.
