Imperial Barber Shop

This review is on behalf of my bf who got his hair cut there. The location is now on Gloucester. 5/5 stars for sure a chill environment, great people and most importantly a great haircut. I had pretty long hair and … smith I think his name was gave me a great fade and left the top long, exactly what I wanted. Shaped up my beard and it looks great. Great recommendation with the hair wax too! I’ll definitely be going back again.

Just a five star review for them not conforming to cult like behavior and worshipping a mask. Never been here but those 1 star reviews about masks are badges of honor. If I'm in town I may visit.

I am new to the Lowertown area and was looking for a good barber to cut my hair and trim my beard. It was no small feat I had not cut my hair since before the first covid lockdown, my beard wasn't quite that bad. Way back 88 I'm just making things more exciting I left it till the day before and was walking the neighborhood in the evening Friday night how much hope of finding anyone open or they could have take me. I went to Empire Barbershop and there was two gentlemen in there on getting his beard done and it looked like they were just finishing up. Before I even had a chance to get I have a question out regarding the chair popped out and offered it up to me, but he was also a friend I accepted his offer. You and the wife couldn't find probably but this point it was about 20 minutes to close but I never had no problem taking me and it took some time. Is it a wonder is it a wonderful job on my hair and my beard while we chatted watching basketball. His wife and daughter came in around 9: 00. You waited to do it it seemed and his wife took the pictures that you'll see below. On all it was a great experience and I will definitely go back and truly felt like a barbershop experience. I believe the beard trim and haircut were $40 I left 60 so that he could get something for his family after work and that still seemed almost too little. It's not too often I go somewhere where I'm taking it back by the service in a good way but this is one of those cases it's not much what I can say other than I will be going back in fact I'm going to go by for a beer trim today if I can anyone that's looking for her in the area I highly recommend the Empire Barbershop. Waited an hour to get a cut, dude just chatted with the guy before me for an hour, barely even cutting his hair. Swear mans was just going through the motion of cutting hair with nothing coming down. Same spot for like 45 mins. Just finish up the cut and keep talking if you want. Wasted an hour of my time, just totally disrespectful and left cuz they don’t deserve the business if that’s how they treat their customers. I was the only other person in the shop….

I had the sides of my hair buzzed. Not the top and not the back. And it cost 35$. Never going back there Service: Hair shape up

I have an appointment at 11am on September 10 and which has been confirmed, when I visited the place it’s not open and when trying to call them there is no response, it so irresponsible of them to confirm the appointment and later not responding I’m really disappointed in this kinda service oriented business I definitely donot recommend

Walked by earlier and saw that none of the staff were wearing masks, and recently heard that they refuse to wear masks. Crazy to think when we are on the way back to the gray zone if things keep going the way they are. Many other barbershops with staff that follow the rules that deserve your business more.
