IGA Saint-Lazare

I've been coming to this IGA since 2009 when it was owned by Poirier, I had high expectations when he sold, hoping for the same high standards. Sadly for the last 3 years this store has gone down hill. Don’t waste your money I have changed to shopping at Metro. They relabeled the meat expiry dates here for a later date, beside the manufacturer date. Three times I bought meat that was bad when I opened it. I brought it back for refund and they ask you to prove it’s bad. I opened the bag and said here smell it. The cashier almost barfed then finally gave me a refund. They don’t care about the customer anymore. Produce is way overpriced.

Wonderful store. So well stocked and an amazing selection. They had everything I needed AND their prepared foods smelled so delicious. .. very tempting.nWe were helped by a lovely gentleman who walked us to the isle we needed and the extract shelf for the item we wanted to buy.n10/10 for service, accessibility and friendly staff.

The selection and variety of food here is unbelievable. I love this store.nBilingual staff was very friendly. Nice to see young men being employed and doing a good job. Must have a great manager.

Relatively new to the area. Decided to finally to try IGA . Amazing! Packers at every cash. Polite. Friendly. I guess it’s a time to switch stores.
