Unfortunately, after two incidents, I will no longer be shopping at this location.nnThe first one occurred when I got home last weekend after noticing that I purchased a product that was already expired since 5 days.. Fortunately, it was still safe to eat but I paid full price for old stock. Not great.nnThe second and most troubling incident happened today 1-10-2026 at 3:42pm. As I was approaching checkout, the cashier checked my bags I brought stuff I get at JT and other shops. He asked me to empty my bags and show receipts for everything, which was ridiculous and no way to treat a customer supporting your business. Not only that, the vast majority of my bags was for products not available in grocery chains.nnNeedless to say, I didn’t appreciate the way they treated me like a criminal and will not keep supporting the store. I will always shop at multiple stores for quality and diversity of product and will not be made to feel like I’m stealing from this megacorp.

This is not the first review, nor the last review, of an IGA that is in need of upgrades.nnIt is relevant to mention that as per several other reviews, yes, it needs to be sanitized, and no, there were no ansjovies to be found.nnUpon entering the store you will notice a trash bin quite close to the bread. Unacceptable. On further entry you will see there are no smaller shopping carts. Apparently, they prefer shopping with a “go big or go home” attitude.nnIn the produce aisle, we witnessed a full grown tomato on the floor. Will the workers throw it away or simply place it back? It remains to be seen and we did not stick around to find out. However, two smaller tomatoes were noticed hiding underneath the produce table. Absurd.nnContinuing on we found there to be condensation on nearly ever freezer. There was so much fog and condensation that I was unable to properly identify where to find the frozen chicken nuggies that I so desperately was craving. And I admitted my defeat and left this aisle, once again, appalled.nnDid you know they were also charging 13$ for 5 pomegranates? And 8$ for a carton of eggs? What kind of store prices things to this degree?? As another review mentioned, we found the 20$ guacamole a well. I almost gagged at the site of this- clearly taking advantage of hardworking breadwinners of Canada.nnAnd dont even get me started on the box of 4 moffins containing only 3 maffins.

Worst experience ever.nThe recycling bin is always full, the employees could not care less when asked to empty the bin.nPrices are outrageous.nStay away from this store.

Usually good, but they don't update their hour for holiday, should be straight forward. They don't seem care enough to do it
