Great little grocery store for everyday needs. Decent selection with a bit of everything - bakery, deli, prepared foods, large freezer section and so on. Awesome for quick shopping trips or picking up odds and ends... But there are many other larger, better grocery stores nearby with more selection at comparable or better prices.

Very convenient for getting last min groceries in lower Lonsdale. Not a huge selection and prices are typically more than save-on and has less sales. It is pretty clean and staff are hospitable for the most part

Decent selection but the Deli department and the staff working it need a lot of improvement. Very often there is 4 or 5 different staff working at once and seems like no one is interested in helping or hopes someone else will do it. God forbid you ask for help, you'll be met with attitude that makes you not want to shop there again. Not cool IGA, train your people better; the north van location is a cesspool.

Has what you need: meat (and fish) always looks fresh, nice produce, good selection of specialty items & multi-cultural goods, and better quality brand names. Regular priced items are not the cheapest, but it is the perfect place to make a quick stop before heading home.

Very poor service at checkouts and especially deli. By the time you've waited 10-15 mins for a simple pack of crackers your soups cold without so much as even an acknowledgement!!! Not even busy, no one in line just a big pile of incompetent employees!!! 😫
