IGA Blackfalds

Shout out to Dominic! What a fantastic young man. First time in my life I locked my wallet in my truck. It had my keys and phones in it. So here I am standing outside my running truck holding a bag of groceries I stopped him and he called my hubby to remotely unlock the truck. He didn't even make fun of my predicament. Way to go IGA Blackfalds for hiring him. He just saved me from an embarrassing expensive wait for a tow truck. Thank you again Dominic. The world needs more people like you!!

I've been shopping at Blackfalds IGA for many years now, since back when it was still Blackfalds Family Foods. The staff there are the most friendly people, who know me by name, and they make this store a great place to shop! Always clean with shelves that are well stocked with good quality products. Large selection of pre-made dinners that are ready to pop in the oven, such as pizza, lasagna, perogies etc. They have a nice selection of fresh flowers for summertime as well. Thanks to everyone at Blackfalds IGA for being a great part of this community!

I came into IGA on October 17th 2024 at 7:30 pm, I bought one bag of worthers with the blue label for $4.95 and went up to the register to be greeted by Brittany, who then scanned my grocery, and I handed her a $10 bill, only to receive 30¢ in change, after speaking to her about this, she refused to give me the correct change. It also smells awful inside that building, please clean better and get rid of terrible workers

Travelled from out of province for vacation and it was just your regular grocery store. Thing that as weird that the cashier was friendly with everyone in front of mehi/bye/have a good day ect.. but when it got to me, she turned grumpy, no hi or anything, maybe it had something to do with me being the only brown person in line/store/city, she got back to being cheery when I left, lol. 'Berta amiright.

Their staffs customer service skills suck and 9/10 you have to go somewhere else when you’re done shopping here because they’re missing something you need.
