We are The Idora Park Experience -- A Museum Dedicated to Everything Idora Park.

We're on a mission to rescue and share Idora Park Artifacts.

This is a private collection that is only open to the public a couple of times a year so don't miss out and join us for our next opening.

You won't be disappointed. You'll see:
- The Rapids/Lost River Boat;
- The Baby Wildcat Cars;
- A Jack Rabbit Car;
- Wildcat Cars;
- The Kiddie Train;
- Original Signage; and

Before I start the review of the Idora experience I want to say that the owners Toni and James are two of the best people you will ever meet. When you go make sure you meet them as they are super friendly and have lots of great stories of how they obtained some of the artifacts for the park. Even though its not a super big place you can spend hours looking at the old photos and displays. It takes you back to a different time when things were simpler and the pace was slower. A must see!!
Had a wonderful time! I remember the park from the 1970s until it closed following the fire. Looking at the old rides, signage and assembled memorabilia brought back vivid memories. Hearing people older than I recall their experiences was delightful. I watched a mother trying to relate to her daughter about the park and her memories from when she was growing up.
Loved seeing everything from our past
It was great. Brought back a lot of memories for my mom and I.

Thanks to Jim and his wife for bringing back the great memories of this beautiful park. I know heaven must have a place in it reserved for Idora Park. Just to ride the Wildcat and Jack Rabbit along with the Lost River would be amazing. We had our Camelot. We were lucky.
The owners are a local treasure themselves. Unbelievable the amount of work, time and financial commitment to preserving, restoring, showcasing and sharing the history of the park through it's remaining pieces. Be sure to check it out when it's open. You won't regret it.
Everything was labeled with what it was and dates. Very professional and Set up like any other museum. Lots of people to ask questions to. Old fun house mirrors were very fun and the fun house lady was creepy.
Really nice collection of artifacts from Idora Park. I went to the park many times when growing up. Visiting here brought back a lot of good memories, but it's amazing how much I also forgot. Very glad that what's left of the park is being preserved. A lot of what they have found for the collection needed major restoration. Really appreciate all the hard work that was done. Thank You !!
