Very professional staff. They got me in quickly for a problem I should have taken care of quicker. They did it with the best professionalism. They got me in on time for my upcoming vacation and did an incredible job. The PA, MA's , Nurses in the back and everyone in the procedure were fantastic! Thank you!!!
I was a patient here for 7 years so here comes a long review First, to summarize- if you’re looking for a provider who is fresh out of school and inexperienced in pain mgmt and is likely to treat you like an adversary and appears to genuinely delight in “catching you” doing something wrong vs treating your chronic pain w compassion and reason, go see Sarah at Idaho Pain Clinic. Also be sure to keep tabs on what she is putting in your medical file lest she falsify your clinic notes like she did mine. I still can’t believe she did that - that’s gotta be illegal ?? But I am pretty sure she did it in order to justify her discharging me from the clinic. I’ve never been unfavorably discharged from a doctor’s office in my life but now I’ve got this on my record. Which is just Anyway, For the first 7 yrs or so, this clinic and its staff provided me w the best care i had received in 20 years and 4 states. I established what I thought was a commendable record of trust and cooperation and transparency w Dr Ispirescu and his medical staff. I felt heard and respected as a patient rather than just another number. I have always found Dr I to be compassionate and responsive , while maintaining the parameters of prescribing safe , effective and conservative treatment. Under his care, I managed to re-attain the active lifestyle that I had resigned myself to never experiencing again. I lost 30 excess lbs, my depression went away, and I was once again able to do all of the daily activities required of a busy homeschooling parent of multiple children abilities that non chronic pain sufferers take for granted This decreased pain and mental well being was my definition of “thriving” and I thought this was a shared opinion. ? Then, his staff members started leaving one by one and they were replaced w staff members who are much less experienced in the intricacies of caring for chronic pain patients. During his newest staff member’s second office visit w me she discharged me for “refusing to decrease my medication” which is an inaccurate statement. I did not “refuse” to decrease my meds, I asked if we could decrease SLOWER since I had just eliminated one of medications the previous month a medication I was on for several years and I was still suffering the side effects of doing so. Plus, I had just seen Dr I the month prior to that and Sarah’s new instructions were contradictory to what he and I had discussed per my understanding, therefore I was confused and asked if I could clarify these changes with him before we proceeded. She told me No and referred me to another clinic. And now she’s slapped a “refuse to abide” label plus other red flags on my medical file - a medical record that i took great pride in establishing over several years. fortunately my new dr could see that the things Sarah wrote about me didn’t pass the smell test after evaluating me and counting my meds. I’ll be reviewing my new pain mgt provider in another post. So I had been a patient at Idaho Pain Clinic for approximately 85 consecutive months. I had seen at least 6 different providers in this clinic over that period of time and never once had it ever felt like an adversarial relationship until that office visit w that new provider Sarah. After so many years of what I deemed a wonderful experience , I feel genuinely sad to be parting ways on this note. Perhaps I shouldn’t have invested so personally in my dr’s office, but it sure felt personal to me. I was just so darned grateful to have found a team who I believed was genuinely committed to helping me regain a quality of life beyond what I ever expected was possible for me. My faith in the medical industry as a whole had dwindled over the past 10/20 yrs of dealing w this issue and Dr I and his old staff had renewed all of that faith for me. I haven’t changed, but the clinic has. And as a result, I would now retract my previous glowing recommendation of this clinic to anyone who is seeking reasonable care for their chronic pain.
This place is the best. Ive tried other places in the area that are called spine centers and pain clinic.. but North Idaho Pain leads the others by having the best front desk staff, My PA is amazing and cares what I say and listens.. the nurses and Doctor are also extremely profesional and caring thru the steroid injections.. The OR rood is clean, patients wear gowns and the use an imaging machine to guide the needle exactly where it needs to go.. Ive been at other places where the pain doctor only uses a thumb to locate the area... This place I feel Im under the best of care and little chance of infections.. You cant go wrong here...
I receive great care in the Lewiston However I have needed to call Sandpoint on a few occasions and feel as if they are well connected and knowledgeable. I always get whatever answers I'm looking for, messages delivered, or appointments made. I often suggest Idaho Pain Clinic to family and friends.
Micah was awesome, but his assistant was judgemental and threatening. I kept forgetting to bring in my pills for them to count. I personally don't want anyone touching my medications. She demanded that I go home and take a picture of my bottle of pills, that by the way,was empty because the meds were due that day. I even took a urine test to prove I had been taking my meds. That didn't satisfy her. When I was trying to take the picture my phone kept acting up. I was so upset I called and said I might as well get off the program before I end up breaching the contract. She further said ,then you better cancel all your appointments and hung up. I felt bullied. Her actions were abusive and abrasive. I haven't been back since and my pain level is overwhelming. I'm afraid to seek further treatment because of the way I'm treated by health care professionals.
I am so glad the VA sent me here for pain management. From the time I entered I have been so pleased with the quality of care and the staff is the very best. Quality care and people that really care. 10 stars wouldn’t be an over statement. Don Nance
IF YOU WANT TO BE IGNORED AN TREATED LIKE A LOOSER THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU , WATCH OUT FOR KAYLA OR KAYLE , WHAT EVER HER NAME IS , SHES THE ELIMITOR , IVE BEEN WITH THEM FOR 3 YEARS AN AFTER THEY BAILED OUT OF MY TOWN ST MARIES THEY COULDNT HELP ME AT ALL , THEY DECIDED THAT BECAUSE I WASNT HAPPY WITH THERE SERVICE THAT I WAS NOT WORTHY OF THERE PARAMITERS REGARDING PHONE CALLS LIKE IM NOT TO HAPPY ABOUT DRIVING 200 MILES TO SEE THEM WHICH I WAS WILLING TO DO BUT IF YOU TELL THEM THAT YOUR DUMPED , THEY COULDNT CARE LESS ABOUT SENOIRS IM 68 WHO ARE DEPENDENT ON FACILICTYS LIKE THIS TO GET THERE PAIN MEDICATION , THEY ARE GIVING ME THE RUN AROUND AN THINK THATS OK , OR AMUSING WHILE I RUN OUT OF MEDICATION FOR MY PAIN , THAY ARE TOTALLY COLD AN DONT CARE , YOUR NOTHING BUT A NUMBER

I am so pleased with Idaho PAIN Clinic. They are so caring and will go the EXTRA mile for you. God Bless them all for going the EXTRA mile for me. A friend referred them to me. Thank you Frank. It was a 90 mile trip one way but they made it worth the the trip. I CAN NOT WAIT FOR MY PERMANENT ONE!!! Anyone who is suffering from Chronic pain really need to call them. It has also helped my Fibromyalgia and knee pain. Don't WAIT call THEM NOW. Thank you all!!!
