Idaho Falls Black Bear Diner

I have loved other locations of this same restaurant. However. This one was very different. The food was ok, but the service was very poor. Slow, took nearly 20 minutes to get us drinks, and even longer to take our order. By the time we got our food, I was getting impatient, and I usually try to be very understanding. But we were practically the only ones in the place. I was also unimpressed by the condition of the facility. It looked like a messy family had eaten at the table next to us, but the server refused to clean up the table, or sweep the floor, leaving the mess for someone else, and for me to look at all night. I just hope they realize that it takes everyone working together to make a good experience for customers.

We were pleasantly surprised with our meals. I ate here with my family shortly after they opened and it was a less than pleasant experience and my wife went there with her work a few weeks after and was disappointed as well. Well this last week we decided we were out of resteraunt options and decided to give them another chance. I'm glad we did because the food was amazing. I had the chicken and waffles which were amazing and my wife had a sourdough parmesian burger (can't remember the exact name) bit it was amazing as well. Glad we gave them another shot!

The restaurant is quiet and nice. The service was really good. I was not too impressed with my food, but that was just my preference. The restraint was clean. Great place for meetings or romantic dinners.

Took my mom out to lunch. Food was great. We ordered both breakfast and lunch. It was very delicious. Hometown atmosphere and food. Our server was Scooter. She was very friendly and outgoing. I would totally recommend trying this place out. Something new for this area.

Dinning experience is Great! Nice bear themed restaurant with log poles and and bears everywhere. Big food portions that are all homemade! Wonderful place to go eat!
