Avoid ordering online from this store. Order never turned up, driver never knocked or rang. I was told by the lady on the telephone that the delivery address was not the one I was telling her it was exactly the same as on the receipt & my online account. Also, told that the delivery time was never the one I had on my email receipt, a change which hadn't been communicated to me either. Customer gaslighting at it's finest, absolute shoddy service. Will never be ordering from here again.
If you have missing friends or relatives, then look for them in the car park at this store. Chances are they’re still trying to find the way to the store, or their way back to the car which will now have no valid MOT or insurance with a 4 pint container of what will now be cottaged cheese and a loaf of mould. It’s like a boss level maze, with stairwells that have multiple exits on every level that lead to more maze.
Giant supermarket with wide choice. Stuff helpful and friendly. Car park palaver, pay parking ticket, get it back at the till and it s on third of fours level up, there are signs, not easy if you are first time visiting
It's a decent sized Sainsbury's, has all of the normal groceries and a small-ish section on clothes. The size offerings aren't particular great though. The Argos in the store is nice to have.
Very awkward location. First supermarket car park I have visited where I have to pay to shop. The car park had lots of tight bends and due to no signage it took me a while to find the supermarket. The stairs were flooded and very dangerous. If you are visiting the store I suggest you park on the 3rd floor where Sainsbury's is located
I and my husband love going grocery shopping there. There are some fantastic people serving customers in that store. Mr Jag is about the only person I can actually name but there is a gentleman from Nepal who is just lovely, young lady whose mum also works there studying Law at Uni, I think? , young male ex supervisor who is now one of the managers is as nice as he can be , and the female manager we spoke to on Sat yesterday about a very minor complaint we've had from previous week..... She was fantastic. This store is absolutely the best supermarket I've used in my entire life. Thank you, all. Ps My only complaint about the store is toilet - no ventilation and it is often rather dirty and very smelly :-
Big big shop, large selection of item especially the nice floral clothing in Tu and flowers!! I like a lot, but could sometimes have better pricings.
The store has an issue with opening checkout tills not self service before 0900. I have complained to head office 3 times who say it is not company policy. They also have contacted the store manager to advise of the complaints. It appears to be the store managers personal decision. Obviously not a customer friendly action and a poor presentation for Sainsburys overall in a service environment.
Nice place to get all your groceries from. Being a superstore, it has all varieties of food & liquor. You might not find every Indian pulses but most of general items are available. It has accessible entrance and ample car parking too - and the parking fee is adjusted in the bill if you buy things for more than £15
Every single time I have ordered from here there is something wrong. I can understand that sometimes thing are out of stock which there isn’t much they can do about. That being said delivering mouldy fruit, being really early and complaining you’re not there to receive the order or being really late with no explanation. They also refuse to help me being the groceries in when it’s very difficult and not advise to carry heavy thing when you’re as heavily pregnant as I am. Not only that but they messaged me an hour before my delivery was supposed to arrive saying they weren’t going to deliver it. I then call and they said the driver was sick not much can be done but should have be notified way before they then told me that the only times they had were after 7pm and I’m not going to be in till 9pm that night wanted a morning delivery as Im out in the afternoon and also I have no food in the house and have had to ask family to get me some food that night as all the money I had went in this order and I paid for it to be delivered. This is also a big issue as I’m 8 month pregnant and I need to eat. My only options then being get it 10-11pm or cancel my order but I couldn’t cancel as the refund takes 3-5 business day to return to my account and I can’t wait that long to reorder food. I had to choose the late delivery time, which wouldn’t be an issue if I didn’t live in a really dodgy area where opening your door after 9pm is a safety issue. You’re better off ordering from somewhere like Asda where they take a little care in the service you’re paying for and are much nicer while delivering.
