They were very helpful and professional. Gave me good advice in the first visit and then helped me get in and out quickly on the follow up . They had the blond dude walk back and forth behind the camera during my ID photo as a gag , but that's not malicious just a good joke
I went to ICBC for my first knowledge test yesterday, and unfortunately, I had a very unpleasant experience with one of the employees. Instead of being helpful and patient, he spoke to me in a condescending and unprofessional manner. As someone taking the test for the first time, I expected some guidance, but his attitude made the experience stressful and uncomfortable. Customer service at ICBC should be more respectful, especially for new drivers who are already nervous about the process.
Went today around 1pm to get my class 5 license reissued, I was not having my work permit/passport to get it done, for which I understood her point. Also, I asked the lady at desk 1 to update address on my BCID card, but she was not ready to listen to the request. She said it can’t be done without proper documentation, and on which later on she did my herself, realizing the fact she is not listening to clients.nI understand there might be some confusion but listening with patience is must at Customer Service desk, I guess.
Even with appointment you should spend an hour in lineups. Need more branches for Vancouver. There’s no front desk staff. Useless staff. Staff should update new information. You have to mention on website what documents need for renewal drive license . After 2 hours wasting my time she asked to bring your original citizenship certificate now is one day after I’m here for 2 hours no one working only one desk is open I added photo all desks are closed
Feel compelled to write a review due to the negatives ones. The staff here are super friendly and as efficient as they can be considering the volume of people expecting to be seen. If you have an appointment and know the paperwork you need, it's very efficient. You might have to wait 10-20 minutes after your scheduled appointment due to volume of people before you, but that's not a biggie at all.
