This place is just beautiful. It has the nicest staff and a great variety of classes. I was visiting Toronto for a few days only and so I did just one class with Chris Muszka. It was awesome. The studio itself is so clean and cozy. Can’t wait to go back one day. Thumbs up for this spot!
The instructors are great and the staff are always smiling and ready to greet you as soon as you walk in. They have so many classes throughout the day which can accommodate any schedule. The changeroom/shower facilities are spacious and always very clean. I highly recommend this studio and suggest getting the monthly pass which includes mat storage and towel service. A big thank you to the amazing IAM Yoga team!
I really enjoyed my experience at the studio. Very clean and calming. First time doing hot yoga and felt really refreshed. The instructor is really friendly and fun. I felt more in the moment and myself
this studio would not honor 2 classes i had already paid for. I had a medical issue and I was not permitted to work out at that time. the owner then told me that my classes were expired and instead of letting me use the two classes that i already paid for and maintaining a client. She was terribly rude and disrespectful. She had the audacity to ask me why I didn't e-mail the studio. For a yoga studio that suppose to preach wellness and health they certainly do not stand by their mantra. to bad they lost a client and the boss does not know how to do business
What a wondering studio ! The place is very warm and welcoming. The classes are taught by very qualified instructors. I also appreciate that they also provide towels , mats and even a shower facility for times of need. I strongly recommend this hot yoga studio.
I've always found the instructors welcoming, inclusive, and yet bring out your best. The studio has a chill vibe and a great change room. Such a great combo!
I have been here twice now. The first Impression wasn't amazing. But friendly enough. The second time I came in and forgot my mat in the car. It was raining really hard, so I asked if they had spare mats or even rentals. In my hand I had $1.65 because I assumed they would either charge something or, hoping for the one class, they might lend me one. They did not. In fact, they made me charge my credit card $2+ tax, because I did not have enough change. Fair enough, I didn't have exactly $2. But...it was sad that they didn't have an exemption for the .45 cents. I will probably just finish out my introductory pass and move on.
Still enjoying Tracy and Lindsey and a bunch of other instructors fantastic classes but I had an unpleasant experience here today. So I went in to get my 20-class pass. On “Mid-October Update from IAM Yoga”- an email I received recently, it stated “HST will now be included on everything including mat and towel rentals” so I thought HST was included in the price but since I was charged with HST today so I thought I would double check. They emailed back saying “Of course anything you buy in Canada we have to add HST. Where did you read all our pricing is included HST?” It was just a simple question from a non-native English speaker. Was that tone necessary?
I feel like I have found a new home in the city at Iam Yoga! It has truly changed my life. Nothing but positivity from this location. The staff are super lovely and kind, always saying hello, asking how you are and wishing you a good practice. The teachers are very unique and offer different classes which is good for the yogi that likes diversity! I find each class a new experience and I better my practice with each step into the studio. Truly a great environment. For anyone a bit nervous about getting their yoga journey started, or if you are looking for a new studio to call home - youll find it at Iam yoga midtown <3
I was privileged to enjoy a class given by Hassan. Really clear instructions with guidance on how to refine each pose no matter your level of experience. Great studio. Great vibe.
