My in-laws got the roof put on their house 1999. Thinking they were getting the best steel roof ever however it's very sad the roof is an even 20 years old yet and already having issues with Edge peeling on the Shakers. Called last June or July never received a message or call back then called end of September into October still never heard anything back then a couple of weeks ago I got a call from Lance at 4 pm saying he has a crew in the area the next day that can come and look at my snow guard that I reported broken but nothing to do with the edge peeling. Your guys came out looked at the snow guard however not broken just shifted out of place however if I wanted them to replace it they would. Then I asked them to take a look about the edge peeling on the Shakers they took pictures took my email address still waiting for Lance to get back to me thought by giving him my email address he would get back to me sooner guess not. I understand this was a new product put out 20 years ago and there is bound to be some issues however a little bit more communication from the office would have been nice I'm a very patient person so this morning I decided instead of trying to actually call I'll go to their website and where it says contact us I'll send them in email maybe I'll get a response a little faster that way however couldn't send the email something on their website wasn't working properly so can't send them an email. If I know what's going on I'm very patient but now I feel like I was being ignored. 
My in-laws were one of the first to get a steel roof in the Grimsby area by this company they believe that they were getting a high quality and best warranty from a great company that was out there and now almost 20 years  later you forgot about the ones that helped you get started.

We have just had installed a Hy-Grade roof on our house, and we are highly satisfied with the quality of the materials, the installation, as well as the look.  From the get-go Hy-Grade was easy to contact, returned calls very quickly, and our estimator/salesman answered all questions politely and knowledgeably (and he was even present helping on the first day of installation).  Our installers worked very efficiently, spent all the time required to shim our roof, and completed the work in a timely and organized fashion.  I must say, so far (it's been a few days only) four neighbours have complemented us on our roof, and we are more than pleased with the aesthetics.  Our roof does not 'stand out' as a metal roof, but rather has similar lines and pattern to a standard shingled roof.  I feel reassured with the warranty, and am so relieved that we no longer have to 'reassess' our shingles after every difficult winter, and continually count down the remaining years until, once again, the shingles must be replaced.   From a simple mathematical point of view, alone, this roof is going to save me a lot of money over the long-term, as well as improve the value of my investment in this house.  I recommend this company, this product, and the installers; it is nice to know that there are still companies out there that care about the satisfaction of their clients!

We wanted a roof to last 'forever'.  We had a windstorm and lost our gazebo which decided to take a chunk of roof....also when putting an extension onto the house, we needed the 'hole' from the old chimney covered.  Hygrade did both these repairs, extremely quickly and very inexpensively.  We have recommended this product to our son and my sister (she used it at her home and cottage)

We regret our decision to invest our new roof purchase with Hy-Grade Roofing.  Their customer service is terrible.  They are very attentive until they have your money.  Our roof was installed on April 26, 2017 it is now September 20 and our issues have not been addressed as promised.  Our sales representative gave us his word that he would make sure that our concerns with our roof were resolved - have not heard from him since May 25, 2017.  We email, we call and we even mailed a letter and pictures of the poor workmanship on our roof - still no response.  Buyer beware, the caulking and screws they use do not match the colour of your roof.  Apparently they only use one colour - charcoal grey - at least that is what we were told and what they used on our black roof.  Ask questions about what it is you are really going to receive and make sure you hold back the allowable 5% until you are satisfied.  Be aware you cannot hold back anything if you use their financing services.  We thought we were signing up with the best, but we were very, very wrong.

Great service provided! Friendly, knowledgeable and fair. The crew that installed the roof were very friendly and worked hard. We absolutely love the look and quality of the roof.  We'll use them again when we need our next steel roof in 50 years :)

I always thought you get what you pay for. Not in this case! I went with Hy-Grade roofing even though they were by far the most expensive quote I receive. Worst decision I could have made. They promised to install the roof in 4-6 weeks, of course they were late. When they finally showed up without the proper equipment and damaged my property. They are really proud of the “Quality Audit” that they do, but of course they won’t give you a copy of the audit…lol BTW - “Quality Audit” they did at my house consisted of 2 guys coming over to pickup the leftover junk they left at my house for a month. They never even went up on the roof! Horrible customer service experience that deterred me from even considering using their services. Save your money use someone else!
