Hungry Bear Cafe

Good food, generous portions, slow but friendly and homey service. Out in the middle of nowhere (to a Seattle-ite), this place is a welcome stop during a long road trip. Like other reviewers, we encountered a long wait. But it's Labor Day and the place was busy, and we were charmed by the kind women who served us and by the homemade quality of the comfort food. The cherry pie a la mode was delicious, so have some pie even if it puts you into a food coma!

Nothing but great things to say about this place with the only acception being that you really need to have larger bathrooms. The pancakes were superb. Thank you for an excellent breakfast! I am so glad we missed our turn and ended up here.

As I was passing through I stopped here for a quick bite, some comfort food. I had a delicious sandwich and a friendly chat with some other travelers that were enjoying an amazing looking piece of pie. The staff was very friendly. Would recommend!

Fresh cut fries galore, make sure you have a big appetite. Was here once when they had homemade beef barley soup and it was fantastic. Good place for milkshakes, american fare and giant cookies.

I decided to stop on the way home. The waitress was friendly and attentive. The appetizer came quickly and so did the food. I will eat here again for sure.
