The very best place to eat (including Forks!!)and best view of ocean on the west end! I recommend calling the restaurant or Quileute Oceanside Resort before you make the trip out, as River's Edge changes hours seasonally. This past visit for fall hours the restaurant was closed Tuesday. I always get the salmon burger and clam strips, simple yet outstanding the best I've ever had. We have taken family here and they are blown away. The view from the restaurant is surreal and pristine, one of the best in the world in my personal opinion. They typically serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In 2018 I am planning a trip out for their Valentine's dinner, I hope they do it this year like last year. Value and quality is what you pay for and expect, if you are visiting the west end I highly recommend!

Beautiful view but limited menu. The view from this casual diner is absolutely stunning! Large windows give it great atmosphere. However, aside from the scenery there wasn't anything particularly remarkable about this restaurant. For breakfast, standard fare- B & G, coffee, egg breakfasts, some seafood selections, french toast, fruit yogurt, etc. If I have lunch sometime I'll update with expanded list. Food was okay, standard, certainly not BAD in any way.

My family have been coming to La Push for over ten years now. It's a wonderful place with wonderful people that gives you a chance to escape from the outside world. Ten years older and up to my eyeballs in adulating, I can't describe how nice it was to have to disconnect and just be there. In all those years, we'd never visited River's Edge. It was a treat that I think we'll be repeating again. The food is good and filling, and the staff were very kind and doting to our large party and small kids. I should have taken her name, but there was one waitress with intricate tattoos who was particularly sweet. My wife liked it so much that she came back a few days later with one of them. Definitely worth stopping in if you're in the area. The view alone is just marvelous.

Our experience here would have been comical if we hadn't been the ones to experience it. We arrived and ordered fish and chips and clam chowder. Ten minutes pass and the waiter returns to tell us there is no clam chowder but they would have some ready in 30 minutes. We say we will wait because we have been craving it and it was really the reason we came. 30 minutes pass and the waiter returns telling us that it will be 15 more minutes. 15 to 20 minutes later the waiter shows up and reports there is NO CLAM CHOWDER. What?! All I can say is we were so caught off guard that we had been waiting almost an hour for a product that wasn't coming we were literally speechless. No comp or discount of our meal, no compensation, not even a free piece of pie was even brought up. The only option brought up was to ORDER there other soup. What?? Unless you are in a spot where you NEED to eat or want a ridiculous story of terrible service...avoid River's Edge.

We were disappointed by our server. I have serious food restrictions. In most restaurants I can find something to eat with the help of my server. During our visit here, our server was not interested in helping. And she was actually a bit indignant when my fiance asked her to check with the kitchen on certain menu items. The place is quaint, right on the water with great views. The other staff we interacted with were nice. But our overall experience was bad and we felt disappointed that our visit to this end of the peninsula and a magical afternoon in La Push dropped to a disappointing low point here.
