Did not expect a burger place like this! The bacon cheeseburger was delicious, as were the fries. The interior is really nicely decorated and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I didn't even know there was a bar attached as well. Definitely a must try.
It's a pretty good burger. Sort of reminiscent of Five Guys. I'd honestly give it a four if it was a bit cheaper. Bun was soft and fresh. Meat had good flavor. Bacon was a little thin. Patty was a little small. Fries were good. As a hang out spot, the back room was poppin', but I had a toddler, so I couldn't eat there. Worth a shot!
The first time my boyfriend and I came here was July 31 after someone came up to us in the park and gave us a coupon and we've been hooked ever since!! The burgers are fresh, delicious, and the fries are always crispy and good. The atmosphere is super aesthetic ~ I do wish that there was more seating in the Hundy area instead of a giant yellow pole without having to go into the speakeasy "The Stockroom". But this isn't that big of an issue as the burgers stay fresh when you take them to go as well! Very yum!!
Writing this review as promised! Alayna served my husband and I at the counter. She was very personable, chatty, warm and friendly. Very amazing service, that part was 5/5 stars! Was great to go back to Hundy for our first time since it's original location in Kits. We were starving and ordered 2 burgers each, no sides, totalling 3 beef cheese burgers and one chicken. Gotta say, we were stoked to get our burgers, they were good, but not great. The buns were kinda cold, and the beef flavours just didn't hit the way we wanted it to, pickles were a little soggy. Chicken was bomb though, pulled it out and ate it on it's own. We washed it all down with a classic A&W root beer and a cream soda we never drink pop, so this was a real treat. Hoping this was just an off night. Won't be running back based on our most recent experience. Still good though, please warm up the buns, would be much better. Parking: Yaletown street parking, easily found a spot a block down as it was a week night
After two unsuccessful attempts to try and eat here 1st time they were way too busy, 2nd time was told they were out of burger buns..we made the drive once again from Surrey to try this place out. I’m so glad we did. The cheeseburger was phenomenal, the hot chicken sandwich was amazing. Everything tasted fresh. The fries were nice, crispy and salted. It definitely is on the ‘higher end’ price wise but it’s very very good. Will definitely come back!
The burger tasted clean and good. I liked their buns for they were chewy. The vegetables were fresh inside. It wasn’t necessary salty nor sweet. If you like a very clean and simple burger, try Hundy’s hamburger.
Open until very late! Went around 1215AM and didn't expect anything amazing as there was no customers there, and only one person was working. The food took a while to come out but the chicken sandwich and burger was so juicy and delicious! Sauce is super good too. Little overpriced, $4 for can of pop, but was worth it. There is a bar downstairs and you can hear and feel the vibration of the music when you are eating. It was quite loud.
I loved this place after a long night out! It’s a pretty cool space because it also acts as an entrance to a nice bar. The burgers were fantastic. I wish they had more seatings space but a lot of people were doing takeouts. I recommend the chicken sandwich and the cheeseburger.
It was good. It's expensive and the patty is small. The toppings are great, fresh, tasty. I think the chicken burger is best in my opinion. Fries, meh.
Bacon cheeseburger was 100! The Hundy sauce ketchup and mayo was not to my liking so substituted for jalapeño aioli. Great choice. The Nashville Hot Chicken is done the traditional dry rub way and packs a punch. One fries is enough for two. Caution, a bit on the salty side. Great, friendly staff.
