Chit Chat Burger Bar

Chit Chat is a burger place with a nice tight small menu but that doesn't mean the dishes weren't good. They food was good. It wasn't something to write home about. The atmosphere wasn't that good, however. The service wasn't that great as there were a lot of waiting and they weren't checking on you even though the place wasn't full. Overall the experience was ok. Was it good? Sure but it won't be my first choice or even second.

Nice location with good atmosphere but neither food nor service were good. We ordered messy chicken and chit chat burger and we both could not finish our food as we did not like it. Our server was not very friendly as well.

We've been looking for the perfect burger for a while now and none can be found in Yaletown! We arrive early while there were still plenty of tables outside. I was tempted by the Chit Chat burger but didn't really want to handle a runny egg. We ordered two classics with grilled zucchini. Yum. The beef was perfectly cooked, succulent and for a change, the patty is bigger than the bun, yes! The brioche was nice and soft with a nice bite. The brussels sprouts were perfectly roasted, and best of all, the fries are real french fries. We plan to designate ChitChat our official Burger restaurant. Wvee wvill beee back!

I love Chit Chat Burger! The staff and owners are so friendly and welcoming and the food is really decently priced. Really great vibes all around. I would highly recommend it!

Very nice place with a good vybe. The staff was very friendly and efficient. Didn't have to wait long for anything that we ordered. We had the Chit Chat burger pictured, the classic and the Viva la Granville. All tasted great and the prices are good too. Definitely recommend.

A really good burger place after exploring Granville Island and Granville Street. Four of us went in for a late lunch. The have a small yet creative menu. The Bacon & Cheese burger for me, the Messy Chicken Sandwich for my wife, garlic fries & cookie monster milkshake to share; and wings for one of our teens, the other had a Cold Hot Chocolate Shake ;- I wouldn't hesitate to have the burger or the messy chicken sandwich again. The burger had proper bacon on it, too. Same goes for the garlic fries. Deeeelish! "Those wings were sooo good!!!" - said the daughter. We all agree, we'd pass on the milkshakes - it was more like a cool milky drink and not so "shaky" if you know what I mean. Creative... just not your typical milkshake Our server was pleasant. Shortly after we arrived we were one of two tables of four it got busy... glad we beat the rush. Great music in the background. Open patio. Fun time.

Why 3 basically because of the quality of 2 items. 1-Long Time No Sea for $14 Glass was just ice to the max and the price is too much for quality value. 2- Poutine on HAPPY HOUR A basic French fries has more fries that this plate and your gravy was like water and make fries soggy. Server got 25% tip because she was great. Place is quiet COLD. When weather is cold out please use HEATER. Margarita from HAPPY HOUR is weak. My burger Viva la Granville was delicious for the value.

Server was friendly. A nice place to get drinks with friends. We ordered an appetizer that never came out and when we went to cancel it, the manager still gave it to us free of charge. Excellent service. $6 shots was good, but there is a minimum of 2 per order!

Very great atmosphere to sit down for drinks and appetizers. Me and my fiance say down and enjoyed a Mojito and an old fashion cocktails. The lights, music and energy in place was very nice. The poutine I ordered was not good, didn't enjoy the gravy.

The food was really good. Reasonable prices. Had a hard time finding a place that was open so late and this little spot saved the day. Music and vibes were great. Awesome service as well. Will definitely come back.
