I would like to thank A. H., Sales Manager, at the Bramalea Bay for his assistance with an online purchase and subsequently with an in store purchase, in the designer handbag department. He was courteous and genuinely interested in offering me a good customer experience. Although I can agree with some of the other less than positive online reviews, it appears that Akbar is intent on setting an excellent example for his staff to emulate. Thank you.

Never have seen a Hudson’s bay in such deplorable condition. Service was poor, but take a look at the walls, ceilings and dust on top of the shirts they have on display. You can’t make this sh** up. Looks like an empty building, except they had goods, completely disorganized. Clearly the renovation’s budget went to Yorkdale and Queen st. Watch out guys, you are on the same track as sears.

Visited this location for the first time. Although the women's clothing department was quite messy it was near closing time and during the bay days sale. We were politely helped by a woman named Charlene in the women's shoe department. She provided excellent service and even helped me with a problem with a recent purchase. Thanks so much Charlene

Service is generally poor...but today...OH BOY! Went shopping for a men's robe. Very few to choose from by the way...not just a boxing day sale thing, the selection is usually poor at that location (especially in the men's department). Big sign above robes saying 50% off. Great...go to cash...sale does not show up. Employee proceeds to tell me that Polo Ralph Lauren robes are excluded from the sale. I worked for HBC (Zellers) for many years and I know that sales regularly do not show up on the system. I don't know if it is a system thing or a "system" thing. Either way I was sure I saw what I saw so I told the 'pleasant' employee that I would check it myself. Lo and behold...Polo Ralph Lauren is included in the sale...says right on the sign. Planned to take the sign with me to cash but I remember how annoying it was to put signs back after customers had to bring them up to prove the existing sale that didn't show up. Thought I would show her myself...as I was walking back, I saw her coming towards me with other items, great, she met me half way there...not the case. She was going to check an item for another customer, for me, she doesn't need to help me, but for the other person...I guess he was more important. Anywho, I showed her the sale sign. First I had to show her where it was because she didn't know. The she stared at the sign for about 2 minutes (Polo was clearly written). Fine, sale acknowledged, you would think that would have been the end of it. No...she disappeared!!! No 'I will be right with you' or 'go to the cash someone else will help you'. Nothing just disappeared. When I got to the cash there was a line up (there was NO one in line originally). I waited about 5 more minutes, finally I went to look for her. Asked her if she got lost. She said she was helping another customer. I told her that was rude since I was with her first, that she should have helped me first or at least communicated that she was working with someone else instead of disappearing. She told me she was on her way to come and see me when I found her after I found the sale sign...NOT TRUE!!! She was shocked to see me as if she forgot that I existed, in fact she was making a beeline to another area of the store away from the robes. No matter how many times and in a variety of ways that I tried to explain to her that her behaviour was rude...she didn't get it. She apologized but kept giving excuses, therefore her apology was not sincere. I shouldn't have to explain customer service etiquette to a customer service representative. Since there was no one in line, she should have gone to check it out herself originally, that is customer service. Moral of this long story...always check your receipt and stand up for your rights at The Bay.

Cashier Lauren charged me twice for the earrings I was buying. I guess she took one look at me and assume I wouldn't afford my purchase because she kept saying its a final sale and asked if its a gift. Yet emphasized when I showed her the bill that I was charged once not twice. I'll never shop at that location again. Terrible customer service. Lack of simple communication. Don't go there better locations are around.
