Howard Johnson Inn and Suites Oacoma

Staff was warm, inviting and helpful. The room was spacious, comfortable and the beds were amazing. Everyone in my family truly enjoyed a great night's sleep. My son and I enjoyed a swim in the morning. The only thing we weren't sure of were the rusty stains in the hot tub. The breakfast selection, temperature and taste were stellar. If it had been a bit warmer, there was a great seating area outside the breakfast room.

Could hear noise from other rooms pretty easily (doesn't help that I had a toddler above me running the floor). Rooms were clean if maybe a bit on the small side. But this was a better than expected stay.

The room was good, as was the pool. Was very disappointed with breakfast. Numerous folks, including myself told the staff there was no waffle mix or any of the hot entrees. Dining room was full of people with nothing to eat. After almost an hour, we left. I never mind paying more for amenities, which is what we chose to do in this case. With a 10 hr ride today, a good breakfast was the main reason we chose this hotel. Won't be back.

Very friendly staff. Tiny pool, good variety for breakfast. We had a fly in our room, we named him Olaf.
