Wonderful trip with a small group of best friends. We came for 3 nights early season. From our arrival which was late and keeping a plate of dinner warm for us until we left, the Springer family and their team were just wonderful. We stayed in one of the cabins, had everything you need from comfortable bed, to small kitchen, well stocked with drinks. We brought our own beverages however that was definitely not needed. Weather went from high of 104 Thursday to high of 54 on Friday and we got to see and shoot lots of birds. Dillon, Marshall, Colleen, Rachel all class acts. Made us feel at home. You won't go hungry or thirsty. You will get lots of birds. Great dogs. There were two large groups that came in and stayed in the main house, yet still plenty of room to come in and hang out after a long day. Five stars is not enough.
Super people, unbelievable food and great hunting experience. Can't wait to come back.
Great experience. We all where treated like family the entire trip. Hunt was first class with great guides, food and lodging was great. Entire staff was the best. Would recommend them over any trip I have been on. Great family, beautiful location.Rooms: 5/5
Enjoyed a fantastic pheasant hunting getaway at this outstanding lodge & scenic property. The hunting was exceptional with well managed, picturesque surroundings, plenty of birds, expert, knowledgeable guides & top notch bird dogs. The hunting operation was professional & efficient, with a emphasis on safety while still making the experience relaxed & enjoyable. Accommodations were modern, clean & comfortable, the meals were delicious & refreshments plentiful. However, the most outstanding & unique aspect of our experience was the genuine kindness & hospitality which we were shown by the truly exceptional family who own & run this lodge. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome & comfortable from the minute we walked in the door & throughout our visit. I would highly recommend this lodge to anyone looking for a first class, high end, but still relaxed pheasant hunting experience.
Wow, what a great experience. My son and I spent two days hunting the "dogs" with outstanding results. Pack your gun and ammo, they provide absolutely everything else. The entire Springer family treats you like one of their own the moment you arrive. Food and amenities are outstanding. Can't wait to go back next year.
Best hunting experience! We loved that the whole operation was family ran. Felt like home even though we were 5 states away. We drank and ate like kings, hunted hard, and did a little relaxing too!Rooms: 5/5
How could anyone give anything less than 5 stars? World class service, would class food, would class lodging, and the best people imaginable. The guides are experts in the field the and I dare you to find anywhere that is half as good for hunting.
Collene and Marshall Springer make staying there a delight. Oh yes, always plenty of wild pheasants. Been going there since 2002 I believe.
When here for a company outing and had an incredible experience! The hunting was incredible and the hospitality was even better! Marshall and Colleen treated us like family!
Such a great place to hunt and visit! What a great family to spend our weekend with! I'll definitely make it back to this little slice of heaven on Earth.
