This is a great place to stay. We stayed only one night and it was perfect for us. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The building was showing it's age but was clean and comfortable. The price was right and it was easy to find. I recommend it if you are travelling through South Dakota.

Besides giving us a room key to an already occupied room, it was nice. We stopped in just to sleep. Beds were older but comfortable. Breakfast was bagels, waffles, cereal, and boiled eggs. Overall it was a great budget friendly place to stay

Good value for the money, great continental breakfast, and comfortable bed. However, we did have cobwebs and box elder beetles (not necessarily uncommon at this time of the year).

Not a bad motel overall...if you are needing a place for overnight. No elevator so if you get a room upstairs like we did (#36) expect to haul your luggage up the stairs. This room was very noisy, a motor was off and on all night. We booked late in the day on a road trip and they were full so this was probably the last room available. It is an old motel. Clean but old. Breakfast is waffles, cereal, toast and fruit. We won't stay there again, but then we like things a little more modern. If you are just looking for cheap and clean this is it! Friendly staff too.

Two queens, separated by the bathroom...what a concept! Makes sense to me. All hotels/motels should offer this when there are two queen beds anyway. Loved this about Lee's Motor Inn. Older, but clean hotel, close to the MO. river, but not actually "on it"...walk to access...but that's probably close enough to a river that floods now and then anyway. Beds were not very comfortable, (thus the 3 stars). Breakfast leaves a little to be desired, but well worth the price (free). Chamberlain is a nice little town. People were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed seeing the beautiful Dignity monument along I-90, close to Chamberlain, and the countryside is gorgeous. I would stay here again, if ever in Chamberlain.
