I was excited about my visit to Houston Avenue Bar and Grill. I ordered a signature dish, the Houston Burger. See the picture and you will have the same expression "is this a signature dish? " I was disappointed. Also, the second picture shows a burn bread with salad and steak. Two-star comment, because the meat had a good flavor.
Decent food but the steaks lack a little bit of flavours while the vegetables are a bit too salty for my taste. The service is friendly and welcoming. The price is as expected, around 25$ for a regular steak and 39$ for a filet mignon.
Nice ambiance,waitress was nice at the service ,rude after getting the tips wich was about 11%,food was very good
Great place to unwind after work and meet fun people. Good drinks, good food, amazing staff!
I don't really drink alcohol but this is a great place to eat and to just hang out with friends. There are a lot of TV's so in big sporting events, it is very busy but the bar is big so it's cool.
My burger was very good. The sweet potato fries were well spiced. The sticky chicken entrée was the highlight of the meal. The oysters were a bit too small. The service was very friendly.
Loved the food, the sweet fries are amazing, the food was well cooked the way we asked, really delicious!!!!
The servers were extremely attentive, present and polite. The bar side on a Saturday night was packed with a DJ and a loud but enjoyable ambiance. The food was served in a reasonable time frame. Didn't take steak but I'm thinking I might come back to try it as they were reasonably priced and looked delicious!
