A beautiful spot in Brossard. Wonderful atmosphere. We started with old fashioned and it was fantastic. The oysters were fresh and to die for. The shrimps were absolutely delicious. I fell in love with the dumplings. Don't miss the chance to try them. The octopus was also delicious. I have to say that the chocolate lava cake was one of the best I have ever had. The service was extremely attentive and welcoming!! Looking forward to repeating again!
Went for a birthday dinner with the family, and I must say... our dinner exceeded our expectations. The food was tasty and delicious, and the service was top notch. The grilled octopus, Burrata, Ancho BBQ burger and braised beef cheek are a must try!! Our waitress Zoa took great care of our table and made sure everything went well throughout the evening. She was also super empathetic towards everyone and had an awesome smile that just brought joy to our experience. 10/10
Excellent service. The food it was perfect. I will strongly recommend the Braised beef cheek. Thank you for the recommendation. Also to close the night ask the Caramel and carrot cheesecake dessert.
I have been here a few times now, the last being the previous Sunday. I went with my cousin and we were promptly seated at our reservation time. Our server, Arianne, was welcoming and professional, regularly coming to ensure whether the service was good or if we needed anything. I had the tuna casserole entree and risotto plat principal. Both were delicious, well-portioned and priced. The tuna was perfectly cooked and still moist, with a good amount mixed with the spaghetti squash which was very flavorful; this entree was filling. The wild mushroom risotto is my personal favorite, despite not liking mushrooms. I tend to order this plate a lot. I have previously tried a variety of other dishes including the tartare, the burrata tagliatelle and shrimp tacos. None disappointed my personal palate; I enjoyed them all. I haven't had any of their desserts yet, but their spiked coffees are nice. I'll definitely be returning regularly.
The restaurant is very nice and cozy, the terasse is very pretty and comfortable. The food was not amazing but it is ok. We went on a Monday so there was a couple of items missing on the menu that I wanted to try beef tartare, tuna tartare and a few bottles of wine. Their selection of drinks is very good and the service was fast and friendly, will most likely go back!
My first experience there was quite awful to be frank- the food was late, the taste was below average, the staff seemed very overwhelmed and could not manage the rush hour. However, the manager reached out to me and offered a second chance, and it turned out well! The food was delicious, the ambiance was nice as well & the staff was very friendly.
What a beautiful and refreshing place Vertigo is! It is a huge restaurant, with massive windows, and a very large terrasse. The bar is right in the middle and the décor is one of a kind. I went there on a Wednesday night with 3 of my friends and we were delighted with their happy hour specials and the great deals they offered 1.50$ oysters, 7$ wine and 50% tartares for ladies. The oysters were to die for huge and super fresh. The tartare was very good and the portion was fair not huge. Since it was my birthday, we also got a free dessert, which was very kind of them! The drinks are also super good, we tried the mojito and the espresso martini. They are fairly priced. They have a « vin maison » choice that was good as well! Our waiter did a wonderful job and answered all of our questions. The service was quick, even if the place was packed.
Excellent service! Our waiter was helpful and very friendly. Service was fast lunchtime. The food was good although not out of this world.
We heard about new restaurants in Quartier Dix30 and it was between Lucille and Vertigo and since Vertigo had a higher review we decided to try it out. We were able to quickly get a reservation for the same day. We were seated fast and the first thing the young waiter said to us was: this is my second shift so i may make some mistakes and there are some delays in the kitchen. We understood that he is new and of course we are forgiving people. When he was taking our order, he had a lot of trouble writing/remembering what we wanted. We only ordered 4 appetizers and 2 drinks and he kept on getting the wrong item. I was bit perplexed and wondered if he should have maybe gotten a bit more training? The reason i deducted stars is because the salmon tartar was not fresh, the salmon smelled and tasted very "fishy" and the shrimp tacos had almost no shrimps. Secondly, i asked for ketchup for my fries twice and the waiter simply forgot about it. I didn't ask a third time because i felt discouraged. Although the place is brand new with outdoor terrace, has a really nice modern decor with open kitchen concept, i don't think i will go back
I went to this restaurant for a first date. Do NOT go there unless you are very comfortable waiting in silence. We got in at 19:00 07:00 PM we waited by the hostess desk, making eye contact with every employee our eyes could reach. 19:08 07:08PM at last, the restaurant is nearly empty only 4 table including our. We got our menu, only by 19:26 07:26PM she got to our table for our order. Virgins Sangria and a 0% Beer, at 19:49 07:49PM they drop the beer but not my sangria… who the hell brings ONE of the drink and let the other hanging?!?! 19:55 07:55PM my date ask for my sangria… THÉ WORST DRINK THAT WAS EVERY MADE IN THE HISTORY OF MANKIND!!!!!!! DO NOT ORDER ANY ALCOHOL FREE DRINK OR COCKTAIL! I ordered the Peach Sangria Virgin They serve a peach flavoured sparkling water, lemon drop and ice… A Bubbly have more taste than that!! One of the worst experience I’ve had and definitely not convenient for a first date. 20:00 08:00PM Our appetizer are there, at last! It’s delicious calamari, good temperature and very well presented. The waitress come say, everything is good here? Then leave before we say yes, I couldn’t tell her I was disappointed with my drink..It’s not normal that the pichet of water is empty but our cocktail full. At 20:27 08:27PM… our food is on the table.my date’s Piri Chicken Looks good but the dipping sauce is fridge temperature… did they forget to warm it up? Most probably. My Mac&Cheese was delicious, but the waitress didn’t tell me that the plate was hot so I burned my finger first degree, now I have burn blisters on my index and thumb fingers. The restaurant is beautiful, the menu is very nice and original yet familiar, the ambiance was great I wish I could have said the same about the service. It was definitely not worth it. Plus at the end she didn’t even ask why neither of us drank our beverages. She just charged us and left. HORRIBLE!!!!
