Delicious food and great business. If you don't want to wait in line, you can dine before 6 PM. Almost every dish is tasty, but I especially love the seafood pancake, which I order every time I come. There is also a limited two-hour parking space at the entrance, making parking convenient. However, you still need to arrive early to secure a spot. Overall, I really enjoy it.
Tofu soup was very good here. Mild to medium is recommended for those who aren't too familiar with spicy food. The bill should come out to around 20 dollars per meal.Food: 5/5
Food is consistent, very affordable for value and service is mostly fair. Yes prices went up and portions got smaller but in this economy their deal still doesn’t seem unreasonable at all There was this one staff member, though. The waitress taking orders blatantly ignored me and went to every other table first, not sure why. Maybe because I look younger than other patron, was alone and/or don’t look like I speak Korean. She dismissively waved off my attempt to call her and tried to take orders from a table next to mine even though they weren’t even ready, and then walked off to every other table. I was not served drinking water until another staff came around even though the lady in question already got to every other seated table, which were 5 including myself at the time. If it was by order of seating, I wasn’t the last to walk in from our cluster of the lunch rush. Maybe she was just rushed and preoccupied since it was opening hours, as this was never an issue in all my years of patronage I’ve visited on and off since it first opened. Still, it was very off-putting. After reluctantly taking my order a good while after, she never once came back to check on me until I left. The other waitress who I’ve seen from previous visits and was the one who got me my water and food was cordial enough to not ruin my appetite completely. The 2 remaining “service” stars are there entirely for this other person. Hoping this was a simple circumstantial misunderstanding. Not sure I’ll visit again anytime soon to find out, however.
Went on a weekend afternoon and the place was already quite busy. The parking lot was filled, but there was garage parking available. To gain access, you would need to call the business and they will open the gate for you. The restaurant was quite full for an early afternoon, but there were 3 or 4 tables available. We were seated right away and given tea and utensils. Staff were quick to take orders and bring the food promptly. The food was hot, and we got a soup combo to share. The rice was fluffy and crisped up nicely on the sides. The bulgogi was hot and had a rich flavour to it. The soup balanced nicely with the bulgogi with a softer flavour, and paired well with the rice. The combo also came with side dishes like kimchi, potato, and more. Staff did not rush us out, but cleaned up quickly after vacating the table to make room for more customers. Would recommend a visit for some hot, traditional, Korean food and a casual meal.
Tofu soup is good, but pancake is not the kind i like. Overall not bad.Food: 4/5
Delicious tofu soup! I crave their tofu the mild level of spicy is perfect for me. Everything on the menu is good, can’t go wrong.Food: 5/5
Limited parking, but a great atmosphere with good service and excellent food. A simple menu makes it so that they can clearly focus on each dish, which shows in the quality of the ingredients and spices. A little out of the way from downtown Vancouver but worth the trip and strongly recommended!
Delicious Korean dishes specializing in tofu. We ordered variety of different dishes, beef bulgogi, pork bulgogi, seafood tofu along with several appetizers seafood pancake and potstickers. They are.all delicious!
Great for people who can't handle spicy food! They have white tofu soup which is flavourful on its own. Highly recommend the mushroom tofu soup!Food: 4/5
Price was okay, not that expensive compared to other places, but the portion was mostly tofu, with a bit of meat. When we were still eating, the server came and gave my friend the bill of 3 of us without asking us if we wanted to separate or not, she didn’t say anything. My friend didn’t speak that much English so he didn’t know and just paid for all. Only until we finished it and waited for the bill, we realized. I just didn’t get it why she gave the bill and wanted us to pay when we were still eating.
