Authentic Yemeni cuisine … Food ***** Service ***** Ambiance **** So from walking in to getting our food, our server made us laugh and feel at home. She was so nice to our 4 year old that she mentioned how nice the server is. Food was fresh, HUGE portions and very succulent. We ordered the Lamb and Chicken Mandi…. Just so soft it slipped off the bone. The cucumber yogurt sauce with the rice was yum!!. The chef came out to talk ti us and she is such a nice lady !! Overall an A+ experience.

We were dropping off our car at Budget and wanted something nearby by. Based on the google reviews we decided to try Yemen cuisine for the first time and this place and the reviews did not disappoint! We tried the chicken and lamb Mandi. The rice is super fragrant, the lamb and chicken were tender, the toasted almonds added a great texture and the cucumber yogurt gave everything that perfect balance of tang. If we lived in Calgary, we’d definitely visit again.

We headed to this place after a movie at the Cineplex. The indoor decor and music choice sure had a Middle Eastern touch. I ordered the Madhbi chicken which had a crispy outside texture like it's fried but it's apparently cooked on lava stone. The insides were well cooked and I could easily get the meat off the bone without a knife. The rice was mild but a bit on the dry side. The two dips were also nice and pretty much on the mild side of things. The portion was quite filling too.

Hands down the best Lamb I have ever had. Highly recommend this place, the meat cooked to perfection. This is my 4th time here and this place never disappoints!! The service is amazing as well.. Carol as always was great!! Thank you!!Parking spacePlenty of parkingParking optionsFree parking lot

This was my first time there. I am glad i called before. The service is good and fast, the food is really yummy. I would love to come back to try Madfoon and other dishes. My suggestion to the owners, you really need some natural light there. There are no windows at all!!

Ordered the chicken and lamb Mendi. Lamb was fantastic, chicken was average, but the salad needs a lot more work. The Turkish coffee was fantastic and the knefe was good as well. Service was quick and friendly but the place needs some serious updating, very very outdated.

Great decoration, amazing service, sooooo friendly Food is great,prices are definitely competitive They have shisha for 21 in different section, so those how want an smoke free spot, all lounge is yours

It was absolutely delicious!! Beautiful environment with outstanding charisma. The waitress was super nice! The owner came to the table after supper to say hi & make sure everything is good. Neat place & people. Love to go back again.

Here for the first time and we arrived with 4 starving kiddos. I must say everything from food to the service was amazing! Our food came fast, and all the dishes we’ve ordered was delicious. Carol was our server and she was nothing short of fabulous! I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return.
