Authentic German Cuisine at it's best. The food was delicious and the restaurant has a very unique style. Tables and chairs are a bit close together but still very cozy. Wonderful and very friendly service. The establishment is expensive, but well worth it because you pay for what you get, Plus you can try the escargot. Plenty of parking in rear of restaurant. A few handicap parking spots by main entrance.

This place is a gem, what an excellent service. The food was so delicious authentic German delicacies including the beer .The interior and sitting space was really cute only thing we didn't knew was they had reservations which have to book by call . We didn't had reservation we walked in and yet the host made sure we are comfortable and have great time, which we really did. Oh man had a great weekend thank you House of Gerhard.

Beautiful, sit in the dark cozy room or in back by the windows, and savor the fantastic food and attentive staff. Good was a bit earlier than our usual fare, but the flavors made it worthwhile. Looking forward to many happy returns.

Enjoyed fabulous French onion soup, prime rib and the best potato pancakes I've ever had. Krista and the entire staff were welcoming and engaging. Parking: Adjacent adequate parking.

We had a great experience and our waitress was excellent. The food was excellent. 3 of us ordered Beef Stroganoff and the other was Prime Rib. For dessert we had Creme Brulee which was fantastic. Definitely will be going backFood: 4/5

Wunderbar! I was here on business and looked up restaurants in Kenosha and found this. Worth all the 5 star ratings. Great food, more than ample portions. Had the German sampler, was not disappointed. Friendly wait staff, our server Louise was as nice as could be. Just a friendly place, relaxed atmosphere with no rushing.

As always, outstanding service and phenomenal food. The warmth and joy of the season are reflected in the beautiful decor. The pate, kidney bean salad, and homemade muffins and rolls are mouthwatering. I choose salad instead of soup and loved the fresh flavor of the house egg mustard dressing. My friend shared a bit of her oven baked French Onion soup and it was delicious, not over salted like so many. The prime rib was done to perfection, tender, juicy and not over seasoned. The side of mushrooms were a nice accompaniment and can you ever go wrong with spaetzel? My dessert choice was Schaum Torte. A wonderfully light and refreshing end to my meal. Gerhard's is always my "go to" for the best of everything! Salut!

One of the premier German restaurants in the U.S. It’s Family owned in Kenosha. All the food is fresh cooked from scratch. Better than most restaurants in Germany. The Bratwurst and Knockwurst dinner platter with sauerkraut and fresh potatoes and carrots was incredible. It is award winning for a reason. Service was excellent thanks to Beth. The owner came over to check on us and she was a lovely person. Price was very reasonable and portions huge. We were in heaven!!

The ambience was lovely. The staff was friendly, polite, kind, patient and knowledgeable. The appetizers were delicious. The red cabbage and spaetzle were great. The dessert was awesome. BUT… I went there wanting Wiener schnitzel—veal or pork…But had to settle for turkey schnitzel. Sorry… The turkey schnitzel just didn’t do it for me.
