Hour Glass Cleaners

I don't often have cause to dry clean anything, but in the few times I have, I've had a great experience here. Things are always done before their estimate, and they've been able to get even large items like a king size down comforter turned around in less than a day.

REVISION: I went to speak with a manager and she was awesome. She refunded the different in price, and apologized that they didn't let me know about the price difference. She also said that some small shirts can fit on the machine which means I would be charged 2.50 instead of 6.99. I still find it odd - I've never had to pay to have my small men's shirts hand pressed. Additionally, if women's shirts all have to be hand pressed, that is a bummer price-wise. ORIGINAL POST: I think it's probably a really great place to get your stuff dry cleaned. However, this was my first time using Hour Glass, and after checking the rates online for men's shirts ($2.50) I dropped off 9 shirts to be laundered/pressed. When I picked up my shirts, the total was $71 - the price for size small dress shirts is more than twice what is listed online. The did not tell me this when I dropped off 9 shirts. I have never in my life paid this much and I've been getting things pressed for over 20 years and have lived in 4 different cities in the past 10 years. I am going to speak with the manager on Monday, but this price difference (especially because it is so significant) should be discussed with customers.

Edit 9/20/16 I realized that if one goes to this dry cleaner you must be specific in what you want. They will not ask you what you want. So if you want your shirt to be wrinkle free ask for the "full hand press" option when dropping off. Came here to drop off some dress clothes to prepare for an interview the following day. Upon pick up though and after getting home I noticed some considerable wrinkles in my dress shirt. All in all they did a pretty good job but could have paid more attention to the details when it came to pressing my dress shirt.

Under the pressure I was to get my suit and overcoat ready for an unexpected funeral, they listened and were ablevto get it done. Allison is awesome.
