Stayed there 4 nights. I thought it was an excellent facility with a comfortable bed and well equipped small kitchen. Suite had a balcony, which would be fine in the summer. The free breakfast in the morning was good with a small but tasty choice of selected breakfast foods. The price was reasonable, staff was pleasant, bilingual and I would stay there again.
We only stayed one night but it was great. The breakfast was wonderful...that cocoa was something else, one of the best I've had in this lifetime. They gave us an upgrade so I'm not sure what our initial room would be like but the room we got was wonderful. Would definitely book here for my next trip to MontrealRooms: 4/5
L'Appartement is centrally located within walking distance to most things most people would want to visit - museums, shopping, McGill, the Plateau, Old Montreal. It is also close to the metro.The staff are helpful and courteous. Our suite was large and the beds were comfortable. Despite being on Sherbrooke, a major street, the room was quiet. We had good views of the city. The free continental breakfast was very good and offered a variety of breads, cereal, fruit, hard boiled eggs, ham, turkey and cheese. The rooftop pool was great. My only complaints, which are minor, is that the hotel were too warm and the underground parking is extremely tight. It was hard to get out Subaru Outback out of the garage. Otherwise we had a great stay. This is an excellent hotel at a reasonable price. We will stay here again.
Stayed one night. Nothing to complain about. Older hotel but otherwise our room was as expected. Very clean and comfortable. Small kitchen that has everything you need. All went well with checking in and out. We used the small underground parking; don’t expect to get in if you have a large vehicle or truck. Would stay again.
The room we stayed in was very comfortable, spacious and clean! The breakfast could have contained more hot food options i.e. eggs, bacon etc. Xavier, behind the front desk, was very professional and catered to our needs and wants. He is an exemplary model of how people should be in the hospitality industry!
Wow! Booked the day of travel - last minute get away so didn’t have time to research. What a perfect space! Kitchen with everything you need. Balcony. Pool on top floor with deck overlooking city. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Close to metro and walking to downtown & old city. Laundry on sight. Just perfect!
Stayed there 5 days with the kids with 1 big size room with 2 queen beds. It's big enough for all of us to sleep and eat there and a table for worklaptop. The kitchen is decent with a electric stove, fridge/freezer, coffee maker, sink, kettle dirty, microwave and oven for you to us. All the utensils were stocked nicely for everyday dining. Only thing the kitchen is too small to prep anything. Bed was kinda old and uneven. Parking is not always behind the hotel. They send us across to Target park not cheap either which has 1.3 stars on google. I was ok with it until the last day, that garage door broke and can't get out from that entrance. Overall it's not a bad place to stay for a few days in town.
An older but at least relatively clean hotel. Location is excellent. Rooms lower in the building are far less desirable due to street noise. We were on the fourth floor and were disturbed numerous times in the night by sirens and loud vehicles. You will, quite rightly, wonder what spending a few extra dollars at another hotel would have got you.
Like this place. But for the first time, the orange juice was so watery. It's weird for the person who takes care of breakfast is amazingly careful to detail. Stuff us very friendly. It was too hot in the room. And I don't like bedding. Ok, next time I'll take it with me.Rooms: 3/5
Nice place, the suite was a bit older, but very large and clean. The hotel itself was fine. Nothing super fancy, but very functional. Beds comfy. Nice little balcony attached to the room. Location for us wasn't great. Kind of at the edge of downtown. Downtown is mostly stores, not really our thing. We ended up mostly in plateau-mont-royal, which is more little restaurants/bars/etc and vieux montreal. Both were about 15 min walks to get there.
