It’s the only Korean BBQ restaurant that I know in the West Island that can offer the BBQ all you can eat experience. It offers a great variety of meat beef, chicken or pork marinated to grill. They also have many sushi and many other Korean dishes. Service was very good and quick. It is best to make reservations. It’s a fun experience to share with family and friends.
The food was ok… Nothing out of the ordinary apart from the fact that you can taste the chemicals they put in the food and water that makes you full faster so you can spend an obscurs amount of money for the least amount of food eaten. I’ve been to multiple Korean bbq places and this one was my worst experience yet! The staff when greeting us was not eager to be there and walked away while I was trying to figure out if their system was working or not. I already knew that places put the chemicals in the water so I avoided drinking any water until the end of my meal and when I took a sip it really did not taste like regular water. Your clothes end up stinking also afterwards but it’s like that at most Korean bbq places. Instead of coming here I’d recommend other places if you don’t want to feel extremely bloated afterwards…nnEdit:nThe owner then responded assuming that we went during Mother’s Day and that’s the excuse to why staff was rude. However, we went a few days ago when it was dead quiet and the restaurant just opened :nNot only that, but the owner tries to indicate that nothing is added to the food or water when you can noticeably taste it especially in the water that is seemingly “tasteless”. I’d like to reiterate that some other all you can eat places do not put chemicals in their food of very much less and that is a risk you are taking with all you can eat restaurants. The owners reply should be indication enough of how the business is run. Have a wonderful day and I pray you do better
Pretty good overall with a good variety of sushi and Korean BBQ. Restaurant was clean and the Korean BBQ vents worked well in extending the smoke from the cooking. The service was also fast and polite. Reason for a 4 star is that they don't offer any sashimi but still a good place to eat with reasonable pricing.
The West Island is stepping up their game. You don't have to head down to downtown Montreal. To eat coreen BBQ.nHOSHI BBQ COREEN & SUSHI.
Made rsvp at 8:30, arrive at 8:35. To be seated and had to download the menu to our phone. By 9pm to get our first order. By 9:30 last call. I felt they rush us out fast and they even brought out ice cream and I ask if I can have that last since it will melt. Guess what? The ice cream melted and such a waste of food. They charge you extra for any wasted food but they rush you out. For 2 person, our bill was 120. Not worth the price of all you can eat when we didn’t finish. Even the stove timer stop working because they were near closing.
