Nice Italian type coffee shop in Montreal West Island. Great place for a delicious coffee of your choice with an Italian pastry. They also have side dishes, sandwiches and some alcoholic drinks. There also a small terrace available but not sure if they extend it to the parking lot in the summer. Plenty of room inside though.
As you enter - go to the cash register to place your order and pay, you'll give your name and that's when you can seat yourself - when all is ready, they will walk around calling your name unless it's an expresso order where you can also pick up at the bar.nnWe had a great time, and our experience was extremely gratifying, having both the Steak & Milano sub all dressed, fries, soft drinks, and cannoli. The espresso drinks looked awesome, and the barista was informative and took his craftsmanship pleasantly seriously.nnAll in all, it was a very nice experience.
I found the food ok it was a little pricy for what it was … the steak in the sun was really over cooked and too chewy for my liking the cappuccino was tasty but I was surprised it was in a glass and not a cup … the nuggets and dipping sauce were ok … the cannoli was big but it was all cream didn’t find there was enough ricotta - and usually there would be little chocolate chips in the filling - not in this one - also they have a system where they call your name and bring the food out to you … I was in the bathroom when they called me lol a little awkward all in all I’d say it was good - I’m picky, it was tasty but over priced for what you are getting in my opinion
Super busy on a Friday lunch.nOne veal sandwich, one tuna, fries, cappuccino and americano. The fries are excellent. The veal sandwich very good. The tuna sandwich was ok.nYou order at the counter and then servers come to the dining area calling out your name. Fast service. Nice and efficient staff.nDefinitely a good place to meet up with a friend for lunch.
Went there for a quick lunch had a crispy chicken salad. The chicken was flavorful, but the salad left much to be desired, trace amount of red onion and tomato to be found and uninspiring vinaigrette. It’s beautiful little café that offers a table service after ordering at the counter the staff is super friendly I have to go back to try if they’re sandwiches or if they’re pastries to give a but it’s a nice place. Will update once I go back.
