Visited Pickering for the day from Brampton and this place is amazing for the price! They have quality meat and portion size is perfect for the price paid. Personally I’d want more beef in the beef brisket, but I’ll ask for extra next time I go and won’t mind paying a lil extra. They had a daily special $5 box of chicken and fries, i took it home and warmed it up in the air fryer and it was delicious! Also great and fast service, I’ll be coming back soon!
I wanted to leave a really great review as I'm a huge BBQ enthusiast however I was very disappointed with the quality of the meat in both my brisket sandwich and my brisket dinner... I enjoy some barbecued fat along with my meat but unfortunately the ratios were way off today the brisket was at least 70% fat... Mashed potato was also painfully lumpy and although I like a rustic mashed potato this one felt gritty in the mouth... the french fries with the sandwich were absolutely inedible by the time they arrived... and of course Uber eats did nothing when I flagged this. Suggest you need to vent your french fries and fried items so that they are not a soggy mess when they arrive. Just put some holes in the top of the container... it seems to work for everyone else. Also the mashed potato, gravy, barbecue sauce and brisket placed in the same container is a messy soup by the time it arrives. I'm sure it's not the effect you were going for.
Ordered a platter that's supposedly feeds 3-5 people... It's supposed to come with 2 medium sides but the "medium" Mac n cheese and mashed potatoes would be comparable to an individual size to most bbq places. The picture shows it all and I placed the sauce container beside it for reference. We now have to play rock, paper, scissors to see who gets to eat the Mac and cheese and the mashed potatoes... Oh and there are only 7 wings so if this feeds 5 people it means 1 wing each and then a fight to death for the last two... The meat is decent, nicely cooked but if you're going to order here know that the side portions are tiny so you'll likely have to order more to feed your group.
Daaaaaamn gooooooood!!! One of the best BBQ places to go to and just inside Pickering! Great prices, loads of food! Nice people there. We go often enough whenever the craving hits us. We did the two pigs and a cow sandwich, the 3 loaded tacos and the beef brisket poutine. Deeeeeestroyed all of it!!! Taste is just divine!! Nothing dry or hard at all! Texture, quality, amounts.... All good!!! We'll be back for sure!!!
Honestly would’ve gave this place 4 maybe 4.5 stars for the food if their service wasn’t so bad. Their ribs are cooked very well and with their large selection of flavours and sauces i can understand why they’re busy…But with soggy sides and wings sitting in a box while you wait for the rest of your order that was supposed to be ready 40 minutes prior, there is no going back.
Hands Down my favorite BBQ stop. Great food and worth the drive. I live about 40mins drive away and for food like this believe you won't regret itFood: 5/5
This place is a hidden gem. Best place to go to after lining up at Service Ontario If you've ever been to Los Angeles, this is the closest thing you can have to In N Out burgers! Superb. We are coming back to try the loaded tacos Food: 5/5
I ordered the pulled pork dinner and it was great! The BBQ sauce was on the pork wasn't overpowering and the meat was tender and juicy. The fries where great but the coleslaw a vinegar base vs what I like which would be more of a sweet creamy coleslaw but that's my personal preference. The portion size for the pulled pork was a lot especially for southern BBQ Overall, it was great and I would definitely go again. Update Tried the ribs dinner with mac and cheese, everything was amazing!!!
A little place that puts out great finger licking food! We had the Little Dawg” feeds 2-3 people. But we took enough home for 2 people!! Amazing staff, great sense of humour! This place is a diamond in the rough!
Great small bbq joint if you're looking for great taste without the giant chain restaurant look and feel. Had the Single Dawg taster plate and each item was delicious. Especially the brisket.Food: 5/5
