Closed on Tuesdays! Levels of flavour. Great service, food is good. Hot tea served hits the spot. Had the combo with grilled mackarel, soybean stew, rice, and stir-fried pork you can choose, beef, squid, or pork. Banchans were awesome. Parking: Went there for lunch, lots of parking. Not sure about dinner time, it's a plaza.
This is a new Korean restaurant on the south west side of Yonge/16th. It's a great addition to the area as the food was great and service was good too. I ordered the extra soft soon tofu, while my husband ordered a meat one with a grilled croaker fish. We were impressed and will be back. Vegetarian options: Tofu and vegetarian dishes available
My friends and I drove by and noticed this new Korean restaurant opened up so we decided to give it a try and we're so glad we stopped by! The place was busy but the service was really quick and excellent! The staff were all really friendly and the food was amazing! We ordered the pork bone soup with rameun, seafood pancake, seafood soft tofu soup, beef soft tofu soup, kimchi stew, and the dumplings. We definitely highly suggest you all to give this place a try!
We came to check out new restaurants and it’s surprisingly good. The price is also reasonable. Highly recommend to everyone Food: 5/5
As you can see by my photos, the pork bone soup is very misleading. The menu shows a garnished, full bowl with large pieces of meat but once the boil settles, you can see that it is a sad looking dish. The price is expensive $19.99 for a dish that looks like that, especially compared to other 5 star rated competitors in the area that serve the same dishes. The only redeeming part about this soup is the broth is well seasoned and strong but there is nothing else in this bowl except 3 small pieces of pork neck bone and half a small potato. The pork meat should also be cooked longer, as it was not tender and it was hard to eat. Some feedback would be to make the dish look like the photos on the menu and not to be so stingy with the meat since the restaurant raised it’s price. The steamed dumplings were good 4/5 and reasonably priced $9.99. The side dishes are also good 4/5 well made and fresh. The kimchi is only ok 2/5 which can be improved. To a foodie like myself, I have high expectations for kimchi especially for a 4.9 star rated korean restaurant. The ambience is typical and comfortable. My last gripe is that the menu is outdated. There are many things on it that have been crossed out, written over, and sticky noted. Many of the “updates” on the prices are only in korean, which is very confusing as well as misleading. The service is good and the food came out quickly under 10 minutes. I asked for a window seat, but was declined since I am a single customer which is fine. However, it is 5:30pm on a Friday and they are not able to seat more than a quarter of the tables. This is probably because there is nothing special about the restaurant. Don’t get me wrong- the food tastes good but for the price and annoyance of the thing listed above, there is nothing special that would make me excited enough to share this restaurant with friends that are also foodies like me. To me, it is not worthy of the rating when there are competitors in the area that are cheaper priced and higher quality.
I found this restaurant with my friends on the way by chance. The inside was clean compared to other Korean restaurants and the food we ordered was so nice that we forgot to take pictures of food unfortunately. And servers were so nice either. Will definitely visit again!Food: 5/5
We decided to try this new Korean restaurant and had an amazing meal. Appears to be family-run and servers were very attentive and friendly. We had the grilled mackerel + extra-soft tofu and seafood stew + not to mention the many side dishes which they were very generous with. Look forward to trying other things on the menu!
The food here was amazing! This has to be the best korean food I’ve ever had :Food: 5/5
I love Korean food. I eat it almost every single time I decide to dine out, so hearing about this new location in my neighbourhood brought excitement to my ears. Unfortunately this might be the worst Korean place I’ve been to so far, considering the price, service and the quality you get with it. I understand that it’s new place, so I had patience…but when it comes to a point were you struggle to call waiters. I had to ask a waiter for a seat, and sit ourselves. They also are so difficult to call, tending to be more of a heads down keep busy mentality. It even came to a point in which we had to even ask for the side dishes that are suppose to come before your meal when they gave us our main course. We had waited that long to ask, long enough for the meals to be cooked. This wasn’t just an issue with our table but for other customers around us too. Some customers left without finishing their food. This was Another couple who expressed dissatisfaction with the taste of the hotpot to the waiter The food itself wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t good either. The portions are small and the ingredients used in it are not great quality. I ordered a soy bean tofu stew soup that ended up being an onion soup. I wouldn’t recommend eating here, but if u ever do just bring cash to get 10% off. Save as much money as you can on this overpriced food.
New favourite !! Came here with a group and as you can see no one would let camera eat first , managed to get ONE good picture. Also had kimchi fried rice, short ribs, sweet and sour pork and steak patties but they were absolutely devoured. Everything tasted amazing. Also this is the only place I know that serves braised beef short ribs suuuper fire . Lord I can’t wait to come back which would probably be in a few days cause that braised beef short rib is just TOO FREAKING GOOD. Service was nice and attentive too. Update : so I went back like I said I would and got a proper pictures this time . Of course I got the braised beef ribs again because it’s just THAT good. Got some soft tofu soup and bulgogi as well. The tofu soup was really good had lots of seafood and ingredients in general, some other places have mostly tofu and soup but not this. The bulgogi had a smokiness to it . Everything is just * chefs kiss*
