Surprised by the mixed reviews here but my company and I very much enjoyed our food. I had the seafood kalgooksoo and I was very surprised by the depth of flavour in the broth and generous portions of seafood. It was not a simply warmed up pre-packaged meal; the broth was thick and rich. I very much enjoyed the dish and at this price, would definitely have it again.
Although I understand higher prices due to the inflation, this is way too expensive considering the quality of the food. I ordered dumpling & rice cake soup, which was 15 bucks. No side dishes. Disappointing but understand once again due to the inflation. Yet, the quality of the food definitely not acceptable. They didn't make their own broth but used beef stock power. And there were 3 dumplings only and I am pretty sure they used the frozen food. It was super disappointing. In fact, this is the problem of many Korean restaurants these days. Higher prices with lower quality. I hope this message get echoed to owners of Korean restaurants to improve the quality and service.
Ordered via uber eat. Good packaging, good portions, good prices, delicious!
Today I had a great experience in this establishment the food is fresh and very delicious the staff is friendly and and very nice thank you for the experience I recommend anyone to try the food you're going to love it thanks for the food I'll try the food thanks for the food
Food handling hygiene is atrocious. Staff went from placing my dumplings into a box with bare hands, to working the cash, back to placing more dumplings by hand with 0 washing. During a pandemic. Food itself was soggy, mushy, and terrible. I literally would have been more satisfied with cup noodles for $1 instead of $14.
I'm willing to order it again. I often order sweet and sour pork from various restaurants, and I was most satisfied with the sweet and sour pork here. The sauce of jja jang myun was not too salty, it's just right. And the fried dumplings and other fried dishes were especially great.
We often order our lunch here, and always so satisfied. It is always good to eat happy during busy hours of work. Their Sweet & Sour deep-fried Pork is so chewy and delicious, as well as Spicy Seafood & Vegetable Noodle Soup, Shrimp Fried Rice and Mini Kim Bob. The staffs are always so kind and friendly too.
I don't want to go backFood: 3/5
I would not recommend this place to anyone. I ordered and it tasted like the store-bought packaged DIY versions. Their fried dumplings also taste like the ones you would buy in frozen packs. It’s almost like they don’t have a genuine recipe of their own.
The Mool Naeng-Myun and the mini Kimbap were delicious. I would like to suggest to be more descriptive so people can search by item on SkipTheDishes. When someone has a craving or an allergy we search by item. The type of noodle is important wheat, rice, buckwheat/soba, glass, etc. If you search by buckwheat almost nothing comes up in the search, and I am also not Korean, so I had to look up the dishes to figure out what has buckwheat noodles. I am allergic to wheat and eat way too much rice noodles and need a change. Thank you!
