Home Inn & Suites - Swift Current

Stay here often when in swift current. 5/6/7 year old hockey tournament this weekend and they needed the room that we reserved. So they asked if it would be ok to give us an up grade. Who says no to that. Up grade was wonderful and when we decided to stay another night ... We got the up graded room for that same lower price. Breakfast was great and the pool was awesome. Thanks HOME. We will be back.

Beautiful layout, room was very nice. Had the standard double room. No problems, check-in/out took all of 30 seconds. Has a hot tub and pool room, although we didn't indulge during our stay. Plugins provided for vehicles. Gave us a $10 gift card on our way out, and we'll definitely be using it!

Best hotel I was in all year I spend my life on the road working for the railway and this place I didn't want to leave it truly was like home great breakfast amazing rooms 10 out of 10 and there's a casino across the street with an amazing menu at there restaurant

Don’t be fooled by crisp and new looking pictures on the website. This hotel has clearly had a lot of traffic in its short period of time on the market. Hotel wasn’t particularly clean, beds were tired and in need of replacing. Theses are the things the hotel had control over. Broken water pipes and no wifi - were exceptional circumstances - I will allow for that. But there’s no excuse for dirty hallways and elevators. Owners seem to have invested when it was new and nothing since. Wouldn’t recommend.

Called earlier today to book a reservation. The gentleman I spoke with on the phone was very good and professional. I was looking for a corporate rate. Unfortunately, there was no corporate rate listed for my company, so he offered me a CCA rate. However, when I arrived tonight to check in, I met Rhea at the front desk. She was very rude and unprofessional. She asked for my CCA card which I did not have with me. I was not informed that I would need to show my CCA card while checking in. I had always checked in with only my government issued ID and credit card. There and then, Rhea cancelled the rate on my reservation and angrily explained how his colleague who had booked my reservation earlier in the day made a blunder by offering me a standard 2 queen bed for $126.35, instead of $135. Blaming your colleague in front of a customer is not a good thing to do. Long story cut short, I cancelled my reservation, went to Holiday Inn Express just by the corner and checked into a nice beautiful room with 2 queen beds for less than $126.35. I have a job that requires me to travel every now and then. I have decided not to stay at Home Inn & Suites hotels or any hotel owned/operated by d3h going forward.
