The Home Improvement Warehouse Ltd. has been Calgary's go to supplier for interior finishing products since 2005. Our 50,000 sq. ft. facility enables us to carry a large inventory of doors (interior & exterior), mouldings, and flooring to completely service your needs. The prices are okay but don't expect real liquidation prices. In reality they really just clear out the clearance priced stuff - stuff that are available on the floor for customers - at big box stores like Costco and Home Depot and mark it up. Best to just come at Costco first thing in the morning and beat these resellers.
I’ve been coming here since they’ve opened and I have been able to find some good deals but their pricing is not consistent, somedays you’ll get a great deal on an item but the next time they get it it’ll be at a higher price and since most of their stock consists of Costco returns it makes me wonder why would I pay the same price here as I could at Costco especially when you get a kick back on everything you purchase at Costco? They need to focus more on their pricing, if this is really a clearance place then price the stuff like it’s being cleared out, there’s lots of stuff sitting around because it’s priced too high! There’s been many many times that I’ve considered buying things here but held back because the price was too high for used or opened merchandise that’s being sold at full retail! Also the staff are not really very helpful, rarely venturing beyond the counter and rarely able to answer even the most rudimentary of questions about the products being sold. This place has potential but they really need to focus on customer service and way more aggressive pricing if they are to earn more of our business!
I took a chance and sent money for a set of nice knives off Facebook marketplace, sold by wholesale warehouse. Since I am in Edmonton, I didn't want to drive to Calgary, so they agreed to ship them. They gave me a very fair price, and even a discount after they inspected the knives. The shipping was fast and packaged well. They were very kind, easy to deal with, and helpful. I will visit them every time I'm in Calgary, just because it was such a great experience.
I've had nothing but the best in customer service over the past couple of years since I discovered this little gem of a liquidation store. As in everything, a person needs to have educated themselves on what things cost to understand when there's deals to be had. When I see a particularly good deal, I message the staff, they set the item I'm wanting aside for me to pick up the next morning. I walk in, they know my name, very friendly and helpful with me. I've even bought things there that are basically the same price as the bigger box stores, but because of the excellent customer service I've received, I'll buy from them to help support "local". I give them a 2 thumbs up!!!!

Great Value! Found some popular items which Costco sold out quickly in the store. Great communications via Facebook message. Told them what I am waiting for and they messaged me once it becomes available in the store. Overall 5 Stars
Always in stock, you can bulk buy great prices or single purchase. Way better than the OTHER place that you have to buy a membership to shop THAT'S RIGHT NO MEMBERSHIP HERE!! They also have a great discount section, resturant supplies - all of it is fantastic The employees are polite, very helpful and the store is extremely clean I've been shopping there for years never 1 problem never.. All their food products are expired by a year or so . Be aware! Thanks for the reply, however your Mayonnaise was dated July or September 2021. An unopened jar of mayo is shelf -stable for 3-4 months. Google it. Pudding was also expired and crackers and other products. People should be aware.
Excellent place to shop. Great pricing!
A great place to find good bargains, at a fraction of the Costco original price. The staff is always friendly, and I appreciate the exchange/return policy.
