We love coming here on nice evenings in the summer. It's so fun to sit on the patio and watch airplanes take off and land. The food is good and reasonably priced. We came here most recently for our anniversary, and they gave us a really tasty dessert to celebrate on the house. Decent options for gluten free diets. Would be nice if they marked the menu with what is gluten free, but the servers knew. Definitely coming back!
Holman's is a little gem tucked away by the Saint Paul airport. Parking is ample. We had a very nice appetizer of shrimp and octopus with a good mix of vegetables. The octopus was not chewy at all. I had the airline chicken which is a curry chicken. Good flavors and seasoning , it was a satisfying course. Dessert was another matter entirely, a vanilla sponge cake with passion fruit curd, coconut mousse, mango puree, and blackberry sauce. The pastry chef is on site and clearly knows what they are doing! A top ten dessert.
I visited this place for my friends birthday dinner and I'll definitely be coming back. Great atmosphere, and the food speaks for itself I loved everything from the appetizer to dessert. We were a large group, and had 2 different tables. The waitresses/waiters that I encountered were very kind and accommodating. I also appreciate the chef for serving our group despite some of us arriving late. The mushroom toast appetizer was an 11/10! I had their salmon with wild rice and vegetable medley for the entree, also great. The bird of paradise dessert was my favorite part of the meal, I recommend not ordering to share.
We absolutely love this place! Took a helicopter around downtown at sunset. The food was all done right and amazing! Great recommendations from Aiden. Amazing drinks from Nathaniel at the bar! We felt like family, ate well, drank well.. so well when we came back next day to get our vehicle there was a war plane show. So we checked out all the amazing war plane's. Definitely will be back and hope to become regulars
I had lunch here with eight other work colleagues during a weekday, and we had a wonderful time. Holman’s makes simple and delicious American food and its space is unique and comforting. I had the raspberry ginger ale, double chicken sliders with a side of house salad, and the spiced devils food cake. I loved the sliders. They were crispy on the outside but tender and juicy on the inside with the perfect pick-me-up spice. The house salad was a nice balance to the sliders because it was light and the dressing champagne vinaigrette was delicious. The ginger ale was also flavorful and refreshing. I think out of the three items I ordered, I enjoyed the dessert least. The cake was moist and delicious but there was a coconut flavor aftertaste that I didn’t care for. The spiced orange anglaise didn’t really add anything special to the cake flavor either, but the cake was still enjoyable. My colleagues all enjoyed their meals and drinks, and mentioned having to come again. I forgot to mention there’s ample free parking and you can see the airplanes come down the runway. Airplanes even come park in the restaurant’s lot and the pilots come inside for meals. The service was good and the bar has lots of drinks to offer, too. I will definitely come back here with family and friends. I want to share this unique, hidden, and tasty place with the people I love.

The iconic Holman's Table is my favorite fly-in restaurant in the entire Midwest! Converted from an old airport terminal building holding onto a lot of the period theme throughout the lobby and restaurant. When flying in, you taxi and tie down right in front of the main dining area giving all of the dining guests a show on arrival. Not for the shy and timid because you will likely be approached by other guests with questions and comments. Services at Holman's is excellent, with wait staff being prompt and attentive. Menu choices are limited, but most people won't have a problem finding something they'll enjoy and seems to change periodically. Brunch is great if you can get reservations! Overall the experience delivered at Holman's is what we love the most and continue to return.
The most amazing food I have ever had. We sat outside on the patio and we were able to see the helicopters and small planes coming and going. Started with the mushroom toast, delicious, the daily catch was Swordfish, absolutely amazing. My husband had the trophy burger, he loved that as well! We tried a key lime dessert, everything was absolutely amazing!
Absolutely phenomenal. We shared the mushroom toast, farro salad and $300 burger. Everything was amazing, and the salad was exceptionally delicious. The atmosphere and ambiance are perfect. All of the staff were friendly- to guests and each other. Oh yeah. There are also planes landing. We can’t wait to come back for brunch!!
Been here several times. First time on the patio which was fun, watching the small planes take off. Usually go for the brunch/breakfast. Nice choice of foods available for decent prices. I had the egg mushroom toast entree. My husband had the breakfast board. Excellent coffee.
