Holly's Road Kill Saloon

Great atmosphere, good food. Make you feel like family. Best Philly Steak Sandwich! Somehow, I don't see the problem with not serving alcohol to adults with children. Holly will let children in during the day, but won't serve alcohol to the adults with them.anyone under the age of 21 is not allowed at the bar.The name does say saloon. This is only a safe practice. It is a rustic place and I for one like it. I have never seen it dirty at all. We enjoy the place! Carry on!

This is a GREAT place to stop for an adult beverage (with a great draft beer selection) and a quick bite. They have an indoor/outdoor bar which is a great way to cool off in the afternoon. She even has a mister that sprays a cool mist across the outdoor deck. Holly keeps this place clean and inviting. Not sure why so many negative reviews. Remember, this place is an out-of-the-way SALOON! It's not for large families with kids! Holly was sweet, very engaging and treated every customer with respect and laughter. Some of the negative reviews here are rediculous! Since when are "local guides" doing background checks on bartenders and giving insulting remarks? Google should remove them from their guide services! Thanks for a great time Holly. My wife and I will be back soon. But remember - she only accepts CASH for checks under $50.00.

Kids don't belong in bars! What kind of parent would even try to argue such a point. It's a bar, for adult socializing, not a day care! I love the fact they don't allow kids! (Every bar should do this, in fact most states enforce policies like this AS LAW!) THANK GOD! Great food! Great staff! Great bar FOR ADULTS!

This place could be great, but it would take a new owner. I wouldn't drink or eat anything that didn't come prepackaged

Fabulous burgers! Holly and Rob we're super friendly and have created a welcoming, rustic experience near the Boulder River. Wish we could've gone back before our return to TX.
