Dew Drop Drive Inn & RV Park

Where do I start? A visit to Montana has always meant a pleasant (aye, wonderful) visit to the Dew Drop Drive Inn. This year it was a disaster with others in our party describing the staff as, "surly " At best, they were defensive, rude and seemingly inconvenienced by our presence. We had two young children in our party so opted for the, "private dining room." The room was a little dark and after trying to turn on the lights and fans, realized there was no power to the room An AC wall unit was idle in the corner. A man came in a few minutes later and indicated that they had no wait staff and discouraged us from using the room. No problem, and we took an outside table. In short, the area was not clean and the burgers were terrible. So, why do I go to the trouble of writing this epistle? I understand that the Dew Drop Drive Inn is now being leased. If there is any way to counsel and retrain the current staff and recover the reputation of this once little gem of Montana...nothing would please us more. Now that would be a win for everybody. We'll be hoping for the best.

I couldn't even order anything. The attitude of the wait staff made me sick. The customer service (if you could be so kind as to even call it that) was literally the worst I've ever had. I went somewhere else, and you know what the people there had to say? "Oh yea. They're like that to us, too." Like, talk about rude. Maybe they should consider being decent? They've lost a lot of business lately. For a really obvious reason. I used to love that place. Wish I could actually enjoy an experience there again.

Went in for milkshakes there machine was broken. Fine, asked to use the rest room while kids decided on what they wanted instead. They decided on soft serve ice cream. Machine that makes the shakes makes the soft serve so we decided to go somewhere else and was told that we used there bathroom for nothing.... Because we didn't buy anything. We have been there many times and we're going to have shakes today. With the horrible customer service we received today, we will not be returning.

This place took a nose dive, I've eaten here for 20 years with my family and always had dew drop cravings the whole way down the mountain after a Granite Peak climb. Ever since it was leased out it seems to have taken a steep dive. The burgers are as dry as the staff. Not to mention the whole reason you stop here is for their amazing milkshakes and it just so happened the milkshake machine was down when we were there last week. I miss the old crew here, they were so friendly and hospitable. I can only hope the lease is not permanent???.......

Used to be good don't know what happened but ice cream was like ice milk milkshake had no flavor and wait staff not friendly.. Plus very expensive for what we got. We used to come here and it was good food don't know what happened won't be going back.
