Must get their bus drivers from anger management meetings. My daughter has a horrible driver that thinks they are God.
The teachers are so nice. But bad behavior from most kids in 5th grade
My daughters teacher suggested that I use hockey tape on my daughters thumb to stop her from sucking it and that if I continued to allow her to do so then I was abusing my child. Then proceeded to inform me that is how she stopped her child from sucking on her thumbs. After contacting Child Protective Services as I felt that taping my child's thumb was cruel. I was informed by Child Protective Services that if I did as the teacher suggested that my actions would be considered child abuse as the hockey tape would not allow her use of her thumb and could cut off blood flow to her thumb if wrapped too tight causing more damage then good. Physically and mentally. I have recently been informed by my child that her teacher has been making it know to the whole class when she is seen with her hand near her face. She doesn't even have to have her thumbs in her mouth to be told in front of the class to get her thumb out of her mouth. My daughter does not want to return to school due to her teacher actions. These are actions of a bully not a teacher. Every kid has there issues and some cope better then others. My daughter uses her thumb to cope when she is overwhelmed. I have been working with my daughter since I have taken custody of her on safe and non-damaging ways of trying to help her stop. This teachers actions has done more damage then good. These actions have put our progress back further then when she moved in with me.
Horrible school and education system, very few teachers there to help you and care about this students attending. Teachers degrade and harrase students. Been known to short students on credits as well. Wouldn't recommended this school to anyone till they straighten up and take more pride in the school and helping the students. Care more about there sports program then actual learning.
