Holiday Inn Toronto Downtown Centre

I booked the King Special room and was provided a room that felt like a prison. Window was the size of my torso and placed in a corner that viewed a wall. After asking for a change, the staff was very quick to accommodate and provide a new room pictures attached. Though the room was significantly better, I found mold in the shower picture attached. Other than that, the room was clean. Underground Parking is not great for bigger vehicles. The lot is extremely condensed and difficult to park in for many people. Parking is not included. If you’re staying for 1-2 nights, it’s a decent place to stay. Staff is amazing and service is quick, breakfast is decent, and location is great.

We are only staying one night but I must say, the service at the front desk is to be congratulated. We were luck and allowed to have an early check-in. The room was small, but nicely decorated and really clean. The bathroom was even smaller but it was well arranged to increase the free space. The bed is super comfy and this hotel is well situated for shopping and walking around. Parking is not crazy expensive, $30/24hr, considering you are right in the thick of it. Great place to stay.

Jenny at the front desk is fantastic! She went above and beyond to help us during our stay! The breakfast is excellent, very fresh and delicious food recharging and refreshing you at the beginning of each busy day! Location of hotel is great, so close and convenient to all attractions, food, and shopping! Room is clean, pool is fun! However, for an old hotel, the room, parking, and the fitness room are a bit small, but understandable for its age and downtown location.

A great budget hotel with easy access to downtown Toronto. The rooms were slightly smaller than we expected but the price to value ratio is too good so it wasn't too much of a bother. The breakfast buffet was very good and the sausages deserve a special mention, they were hot and juicy! Friendly staff who made you feel welcomed, and spacious seating space. A microwave in the room was sorely missed but no biggie.

I like this place. Very attentive staff in the restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Security also always ready to help. Room was very clean. The only thing, above the bed always you can feel airflow and it’s not good because you can get sick. I don’t understand why was a design to put it like that. And I booked the number with king size, I got it, but in the room for people with disability. It’s okey, but the door always open fully and everyone can see your room and you have to wait when it will close. And… deposit. When I came to the hotel I didn’t expect that I have to pay deposit for 200 dollars, that’s god that I had a card and extra money. Because you can’t pay by your phone. Also I had the small closed window in the room and room was so small and door against a bed and it’s uncomfortable. I sow they have another good rooms, I don’t know why “I had a luck” to have an experience especially in this room room 207 if I am not mistaken.

Amazing people and place. People always have a smile on their face and always so positive and appreciative. Rooms are very well done and beautifully made. You want a very high protein breakfast and delicious food in morning and epic service. I highly recommend staying here if your in Toronto on a holiday or vacation. I’ve only been to Toronto once, but this place I stayed at was pretty great. First thing I noticed was how clean the hotel was. The floors were spotless, everything in the lobby was neatly organized, and the hallways were clean. The second thing I noticed was how polite and helpful the staff was. Every person I talked to was very friendly and wanted to help with whatever I needed. The restaurant staff especially was really nice. The room itself was a two bedroom, again, very clean. The bathroom was a little small, which leaves some things to be desired, and the water pressure wasn’t great in our room, but everything else was perfectly reasonable. They also left us coupons for free breakfast for our entire stay I believe. The buffet is great! Overall, this place is pretty good. There are some things here and there I would improve on, but if you are looking for a good hotel in Toronto, I recommend this one.

I visited Holiday inn during high season and booked a week or so before my travel dates. Prices are very expensive but less than other hotels in the area. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff was very welcoming and offered a free breakfast voucher, suggested some activities to do based on on going festivals in the area. The breakfast was not very fancy but it was okay. I had past experiences with other hotels in the area better ranked than holiday inn but I must say they are marketing only and my experience with holiday inn was much much better.
